Harris and Rogan

Politico is reporting that the Harris team agreed to a chat with Joe Rogan on Tuesday IF:

a/ it was only one hour

b/ Rogan had to fly to Harris, not Harris going to Rogan's studio

You can speculate as to why she was demanding such concessions.

Very true. And he probably won't.  I think the timeline for the offer has passed.

What he DID agree to was a chat with JD Vance. For 3 hours. In his studio in Austin.  Tomorrow.

JD could talk all day into the morning for breakfast.

Rogan invited her to have the opportunity to be on his show.  Free campaigning.  Her response?  "
🙍‍♀️"I'm special.  You need to come to me, and you can only interview me for an hour?"

What a laugh!  I doubt that Rogan could give a flip.  He's offering her a seat at the table to express her views, and she should be willing to go to his studio, like Trump and now Vance, and sit though a 3 hour interview.  But she can't. That is it in a nutshell.  Three hours?  She'd self-destruct just like Joe did during the debate.  She doesn't have three hours of discussion in her. She is that shallow.  But hey, be a normal person and sit down with Joe and show your human side.  But probably not.
I'd suggest that Waltz ask for an interview.  I believe he could actually manage three hours with on Rogan's show.  Harris just loss a massively important interview.  Very bad move on her part.

And he won't, nor should he.  His show is in Austin.  He's not a traveling journalist.  He's a pod-caster broadcasting out of Austin, TX.  Anyway, Tuesday is now here (in the US) so too late.  Vance is filling in the slot.
Harris' loss, not Rogan's.  Vance's gain.  That's a bad look for her.  Imho.

Harris was in Houston recently appearing with some celebrity called Beyoncé in an event focused on the medical torture the right-wingers in have inflicted on women there, with their religious nonsense. The chance of winning TX is zero, for now.
She has done what she can do in TX

It is the last week of the most important election in modern history, where the future of US democracy is literally at stake. You think the VP of the United States is supposed to traipse back to Austin and waste most of a day to be on Joe Rogans podcast?

It is a campaign decision. I don’t think it would be a good use of her time and apparently her handlers don’t think so either.

Yup. Big blunder. It is also a red flag. Why wouldn't you want that sort of publicity? Reminds me of when Joe didn't do a 3 minute interview during the Super Bowl. If you had to pay for that time it was something like $30 million.

That is when everybody knew something was fishy with Joe.

I won't be surprised if somebody like Rogan becomes the go to place for candidates replacing 60 minutes and the others.

She could have gone on Rogan a long time ago. It has been a standing offer.

Internal Dem polling has Harris down 3 points in Michigan. The Democrat Senate election committee told their senators to break loose from Harris, hence they are running Trump friendly ads.

Two things are happening. Harris knows she's toast. She's not putting in the hard miles and refusing Rogan is either a wild misjudgement or an admission of defeat.

But here's the problem for the Dems. They are looking at a potential 57 - 43 majority for the GOP in the Senate. If that happens they can't expect to win the Senate back midterm, not enough flippable seats.

Open warfare on its way next week if that comes to pass. One thing ( serious enough ) to lose the White House. Worse to unleash the GOP in the Senate ad 57 seats would render the so-called RINO'S ineffective.

Romney etc will have no power. This election is starting to look catastrophic.

Most anyone would want to have Ms. Harris on their podcast.

Limiting the duration, and having to to travel seem like trivial issues that Mr. Rogan could easily accommodate.

That he doesn't says everything you need to know about this putz.
