If memory serves me correct,  those capsule machine's are about 4,500 for the Gusto I think.

So how much are the capsules and each capsule makes 1 coffee ....   ?

The taste is probably more like a premium instant unlike a ground coffee  ...

It takes normal ground coffee as well.

So will probably use that.

Cheap capsules are 10 Baht.

Originals are rather expensive.

Best to use my favourite ground coffee I think.

Just bought the exact same machine a few weeks ago. Always love when hotels and waiting areas have these capsule coffee machines, as the coffee is always excellent. I've purchased Starbucks Dolce Gusto and Nespresso capsules and the taste is not good and very disappointing. Also the coffee isn't hot enough. Underwhelmed with this machine and regret this purchase. Should have just gone with the Nespresso machine. Will keep trying new and different flavors and brands of coffee capsules, but already considering a different machine. Likely Nespresso.

The coffee is better then I thought.  But, the portion is about 1/3 of a cup I would draw from fresh brew.  So, 3 capsules seemed stupid to get what I like.  I gave the one I had to some lady I met.

I thought it tasted ok using fresh ground coffee.

The machine has 7 different size settings so you can adjust the pour.

I chose this machine because of the range of capsules or fresh ground coffee.

This is concerning, as I also prefer my coffee hot.
I’m considering this machine on Lazada: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/ksrain-20-bar-16l-coffee-machine-i558770682-s14111258438.html? but I’ll need to double check the temperature and the beverage volume in ml.

Could you elaborate? "Okay" is quite subjective.

Do the size settings specify the beverage volume in milliliters?

OK means good in my view but not an expert.

The pour size shows as bars. One bar = small. 7 bars = large.

In my view the coffee is plenty hot enough for me.

Never going to be perfect from a 2-3,000 Baht machine.

How on earth would I know that?

That machine you are looking at would probably be when you press the stop button.

It ain't gonna be automatic at that price.

We are talking about budget machines here.

I have a Krups "bean to cup" machine at my primary residence which makes 2 cups a day.

I bought a 1,500 baht Nespresso type machine on Lazada for our Chiang Mai home.  I'm only there for a few days a month, sometimes not at all for 2 months.  I buy good quality capsules and it's a great solution for occasional use.
