Perfect example of a few aholes speaking for a country. Thailand getting into bed with Russia of all places is not really Thailand. It is a bunch of aholes doing business.

This is NOT about the USA, or any other nation.... what I will say is, is Thailand ready to suffer the consequences.. eg, trade sanctions, which is a very really possibility, and even more international companies pulling out of Thailand... which has already started.

Some Thai officials seem to have no concept of morality.

 

I remember in the late 1970s into at least the early 1980s, a certain group of Thai officials doing business with the by then ousted Khmer Rouge.

Nobody is OK, russian Ministry of Defence delays payments to the enterprises that are involved in weapons production, sometimes they do not pay them for a year and demand more and more weapons. Production of agriculture machines like tractors and combines is 40-50% down. Sanctions work, slowly but work.
