Kemi Badenoch: New Tory Leader “Labour’s worst nightmare”

And if they were Nigerian, it would make no difference, because Elton John is not a senior British politician, possibly to be the next PM of the country.  Look at what's happening with the current bunch of Labour politicians who have foreign parents (Lammy's parents are not British, they are Guyanese).  Lammy IMHO has views that conflict with being 100% 'British'.

For me, having lived for so long in remote regions of south-east Asia, the concept of Political Correctness and appeasing Woke ideology has completely passed me by, so I have no shame in speaking my mind on these matters 🙂

Update:  I have now discovered that 'Kemi' is also Nigerian - she has dual-nationality!  Conflict of interest or what?

Well, for sure you are a racist, and to be living in an Asian country does seem a bit strange, to say the least, unless you're, there feeling superior over them.............🤔

To be fair, we are much more accepting than most Asian countries. Most Thais would say a farang could never really be Thai. They would never approve of a farang PM. Same as Japan, Korea, China etc.

I wonder how most Nigerians would feel about a white PM, born in Nigeria to parents who immigrated from Europe a few years before their birth.

I do find it deeply ironic that we are at the same time the most accepting/welcoming of other nationalities/races and also the most critical of ourselves in that regard. The only conclusion I can reach is that it's due to either ignorance of how the rest of the world works or simply white guilt.

Might be time for you to drop that particular angle of attack on her; she is a British citizen, and you are beginning to make yourself sound a tad racist.

Ah, another wokie!  You confuse patriotism with racism.  If I am racist, then it is strange that I live in south-east Asia for 22+ years, have been married to Asian women 2 times, and have my own educational charity in Myanmar, where I spend $$ of my own money to donate books to schools and orphanages.....

'Sticks and stones' etc.  I'm old enough not to worry about name-calling.  You're wasting your time applying false labels to me 🙂

I didn't say that either - that's called 'straw manning': what weak people do when theyre losing.

Just make stuff up nicky - it's what YOU do..

You're NOT fooling anyone though - let alone yourself.

Pedestaling non-white people and non-white cultures in the UK and then running away to the Turd world.

You know what you are!

Please stay out there - for the UK's sake!

No ONE in non-white countries would accept it without a struggle.

UK being run by a foreigner is like a pride of lions being led by a dag.

It's against nature and WRONG.

It wasn't 'a few years before her birth though.

As per the article linked above, her parents literally came to the UK ONLY to have the birth - and did so with their 2nd child too.

They say they didn't know their children would qualify for UK passports but that's stretching creduulity imho.

It's white guilt - we've been programmed since birth.

mUH slAverism, mUH rEParatioNS etc.  I'm pretty sure NO ONE in this chat benefitted from slavery yet we are taught to hate and prostrate ourselves.

Take the knee before ALL prem & England football matches cos some drug addict felon died somewhere in America 4 years ago.

It's pretty clear that whoever runs the UK hates the indigenous population and has since forever.  They NEVER shared any of the proceeds of empire with the poor and never will.

Only whites bend over for all and sundry - it's unnatural but once you see how we've been conned you begin to see through it.

OMG just listen to yourself will you 🎺  🎺  🎺  🎺

This is classic denial mode; look at what I do, I can’t possibly be racist. Yet you have falsely claimed that Kemi Badenoch is Nigerian, and think that she should not be allowed to hold any high political office in the UK even though she is a British citizen. What possible motive can you have for saying that ? …. and don’t tell me it is patriotism, unless you can explain how it is.

She's 'British' on a pure technicality - her parents came to britain on a brief trip specifically to have her born here.

They repeated the trick with her sibling

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/londoners-diary/who-is-kemi-badenoch-blue-ambition-lord-ashcroft-b1173637.html :

"Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke was born in St Teresa’s Hospital, London, in January 1980 after ***her Nigerian parents*** travelled to Britain and paid for private healthcare.

Before 1983 people born in Britain were entitled to citizenship regardless of background.

Badenoch ***claims*** her parents did not realise she was eligible for a British passport .... The Adegokes also travelled to London in 1982 to give birth to another child, who also got a British passport."

Call her British all you want - you can even call yourself 'tthai' if you want but youre fooling no one.

IMHO, there is a problem with having a dual national 'leader' who didn't grow up in the country they are supposed to be leading and who doesn't look like the vast majority of the population.

The Thais wouldn't stand for it as you well know.  And for good reasons.

Virtue Signalling on a forum for ageing boomers in Thailand might make you feel better but does not change the facts.

I have no issue with her 'Britishness', just with her rightwing political beliefs and the fact she has appointed an worse person as Foreign Secretary.

Unsurprisingly, you can get good odds on James Cleverly being the Tory leader by the time of the next election.

Exactly, these guys have clearly been MIIND CUCKED.

White guilt tripped into hating themselves and pedestaling people from <deleted> hole countries at the expense of their own.

Forgive them for they know not on which side their bread is buttered.

Sad  thing is, it;ll take the entire population of the UK to blacken up before the people there are allowed to DEFEND their own interests (as it's pretty much illegal now).

<deleted>s like these guys probably mean well but are obvs too thick to smell the coffee.

Even the average Thai could work out what was going on if they pulled the  same type of PC woke, race grifting BS there.

I assume you mean shadow Foreign Secretary. I think Priti Patel is an excellent choice; although it would be difficult to find a less competent Foreign Secretary than the present anti-British, anti-American oaf, David ‘race card’ Lammy. He that has recently approved funding again to the Hamas affiliated ‘agency’ UNRWA; Patel will be far stronger on antiterrorism than that clown.

More clown fantasy nonsense - Kid, your name is  nick carter icp.

It's Insane Clown Posse 😂  TRUE STORY - see nicky's avatar.

Insane Clown Posse are one of the, if not THE, lamest band to ever walk the face of the earth and you've based your persona around being a fanatic for them. Completely Fake & Ghey and their fans - i.e. YOU Nick - are even more LAME

What a melt - go paint your face your clown!

Your libtard tears have made your make up run.

How is anyone supposed to take you seriously?  yr a CLOWN

NEWSFLASH! for others: this is the lead singer from nicky's favourite band YES REALLY! :

(apologies in advance - you may have to wash yr eyeballs after watching 😳

I'd go further. I realise that this  is anecdotal evidence, but my experience of living and working in Europe is that, in general, Brits are more accepting of immigrants than most Europeans.

No country has ever been free of racists, and the UK is no exception, but the sad thing is that this acceptance of immigrants in the UK is on the wane. Imo newspapers such as the Express and Mail have a lot to answer for.

That's a bit like saying I used to be really accepting of Songkran, until someone threw a dustbin full of ice water full of flour and clothes dye over me from a speeding truck while I was riding my motorbike in the opposite direction. and now it's on the wane.

Yep, UK indigenous working man had been mugged off and subsidising gimmigrants for decades but they're starting to wake up en masse due to the sheer numbers turning up for handouts.

You obviously haven't been back lately - the UK is literally being invaded - 1000s or 10,000+ coming in

EVERY SINGLE DAY - AT TAXPAYERS EXPENSE.

Nothing to do with Mail or Express - you can't constantly <deleted> in pepole's faces and expect them to believe it when you tell them it's raining.

They're turning up for free <deleted> and our treacherous political class are enabling it.

Only completely deluded / out of touch retards fail to see what's happening or defend it  👀

Sticking diversity hires into important key leadership positions sends the wrong signal.

I know most on here are pretty close to death or soon will be but what about your countrymen?

Are you that callous or bitter towards the UK that gave you so many opportunities.

Maybe the £ will have to crash AGAIN due to the overburdened welfare state

before most on here smell the coffee.  Tick Tock...

Can't be long now.

The only reason why she has a British passport is because her Nigerian parents deliberately flew to the UK for the birth, then flew their new baby back to live in Nigeria, and then repeated the same process for their next baby!  Her parents obviously felt more attached to Nigeria than the UK (since Kemi continued to live in Nigeria until she was 16 years old).  Her parents played the system, without doubt.

The same kind of splendid job that Starmer is doing to the Labour Party! Remember his recent speech at the Labour Conference - "Every pensioner, EVERY PENSIONER will be better off under the Labour Party."

How does that "lie" sit with the thousands that have lost their Winter Fuel Allowance, and the over 75's that have lost their free TV licences ?

As to my claim, I have sent an email to the person who stated that she has dual nationality, asking for links/clarification.  If/when I receive a reply, then I'll post it here.  Either way, I'm not stopping MY world whilst waiting for that detail.

IMHO, any person who is born of foreign (not British nationality parents), should not be allowed to hold high political office in the UK, regardless of whether they hold a British passport.  That is regardless of their religion, race or skin colour.

If you were going to move back to live in the U.K , who would you rather have for neighbours , Kemi Badenoch  and her husband and children or Bruce Wayne ?
