A few years ago, there was a similar incident in a Bangkok mall where the woman driver had a water bottle that rolled on the floor of the car and somehow got stuck on the accelerator or brake (or both) and the car went through a parking lot wall and dropped several floors. She died.

vf = g * t would be the formula, but we can't calculate the time without knowing the height.

Guessing a 15m fall (1.75 seconds) would give 17m/s or 38mph.

 

You have the right idea, which is much more than can be said for GammaGlobulin, who is best left locked in his compound, as he subsequently stated. Not knowing t, we are better to use v^2 = u^2 + 2fs in the vertical direction, so u = 0, f = g and s = max 10 m coming down from the 3rd floor. That gives the impact velocity less than 10 mph.
