My Thai Tax Office Tax Filing Experience...
It appears that you have remitted ASSESSABLE income, subject to taxation in Thailand. Technically, you do need to file if over the 60/120K threshold, even if no tax due. Not same-same as @Sheryl, as her remittances are non-assessable. This is the second report of a TRD officer saying to use section 11, line 13 to claim a foreign tax credit. The other claimant doesn't even have a TIN so nothing submitted there. You also have not yet submitted a return claiming a foreign tax credit, and will NOT claim a tax credit as you have no tax due. If/when you do file, please return with a report as to whether your return included a foreign tax credit. And are you sure your pension is assessable? You'd have to read your DTA to find out. The solution, as has been the case for decades, is to only declare assessable remittances on your return. Taxation is an honour system, and the taxpayer self-determines what income is assessable. Thus no provision on the tax forms to deduct non-assessable income. **OPINION ONLY, NOT ADVICE. NOT AN EXPERT** -

Indian-Thai man accuses delivery rider of spying, threatens to kill him
No. If an Indian citizen acquires foreign citizenship, they are required to renounce their Indian citizenship. The Indian government mandates that citizens who take up foreign nationality must notify the Indian authorities and surrender their Indian passport. This is because, under Indian law, acquiring foreign citizenship automatically results in the termination of Indian citizenship. Yes, I am aware that citizenship can be revoked for dual nationals on the morals and good order clause. However, if an individual only has one nationality and it is a Thai citizenship, is Thai because a parent was a Thai, and they are residing in Thailand, their citizenship cannot be revoked . Thailand cannot create a stateless person. If that was the case, it would have revoked the citizenship rights of the Thaksin clan long ago following the multiple military coups. Describing someone as Thai-Indian is a biased colonial approach. Someone is either a Thai or an Indian national . They may have an ethnic origin of Indian, but that does not make them any less a Thai. -

Can anyone tell me a better culinary combo than this?
Very basic dishes, but an excellent combo when done well. Tom yum kung ( hot and sour shrimp soup) and pad krapow moo (stir-fried pork with Thai holy basil), with a bowl of jasmine rice topped with fried egg on the side. Thai cuisine is famous for balancing and contrasting and both characteristics shine through in these two everyday dishes. And to complement the meal, on of the best sweet dishes ever, mango with sticky rice, Again, a great balance of flavors. . -

A death sentence for some
You need to see a psychiatrist, all this hateful language is not good for your health. Lighten up, roll a big one and put on Franklin's Tower ( live version) by The Dead. The world will seem to be a much better place. -
