Visa Agent, Koh Samui, Surat Thani

Can anyone suggest any visa agents, and costs, for Koh Samui and Surat Thani, all help appreciated... please no trolls..lol

Might help if you specify what you need need from immigration.

Example non O + extension etc etc.

 

No personal experience with this mob but web page well set out...

"Knight Visa Surat Thani provides visa services in Surat Thani (Koh Samui)" 

They obviously have phone contact along with Whatsapp and Line

Thanks for the info, and I will add, some info.
Arrive on 60 days tourist, extend for 30, leave Thailand, re-enter for another 90 days, then convert to Non O retirement, then, after a total of 12 months, giving 12 months proof of income into a Thai bank, then convert to NonO on marriage.

You plan on using own money in bank for the non O retirement?

No, and I know I will get some guys giving me a hard time, because of it, but they should try living on a pension. Once converted to a Non O on Marriage, then my monthly pension will cover the requirements on a minimum of 40,000/month, so I will only need an agent for the Non O Retirement as a one off.

That's up to you. However the plan you outline will not work.

Assume you Oz which means that you cannot supply embassy "income letter" .

For extension based on marriage or retirement immigration want to see 12 months of transfers.

When agent obtains your first extension the funds will not remain in account and so for your next (2nd) next extension you won't have bank book records to show immigration.

 

To be clear , do you plan to start monthly transfers when you apply for the first extension (retirement) 

So currently not married to Thai?

There is a Visa Agent office literally right outside the Immigration office in Samui. It's in the little row of offices on the right as you walk towards immigration building, opposite the coffee shop.

For your first extension you would have to show 12 months of transfers.

65k (minimum) 

That's not possible so the alternative is money in bank method or agent.

Problem is even if you start monthly transfers straight away when you show them for next extension immigration will want to see bank records and at very least the 800k maintained for 3 months after date extension given.

There are many agents in Maenam. Two of them at Immigration. Go ask.

I manage to live on a pension, like a lot If not most people, and have the money in the bank. If you think you can live here on 40,000 a month, then you are fooling yourself. Stay at home.

I used an agent on Samui for my 90 day non-o and retirement extension, after being told on three seperate occasions at Samui Immigration office that I needed to apply in my country of origin (UK) for the 90 day non-o. This was two years ago when I returned to Thailand after covid.

 

I already had a bank account, sufficient funds on deposit, and was on a 30 day visa exempt 30 day extension when I applied through the agent. Her name is Diane (native Thai/fluent English). Approximate cost all up was about ThB 35,000 (first payment for 90 day non-o, second payment for retirement extension). 

 

I would have preferred to do it all myself, but after the knock-backs at immigration I decided it use an agent. Feel welcome to PM me for contact details - she's based in Bophut, and I continue to use her for my annual extensions.

 

BTW I understand that for monthly deposits the amount should be ThB 65,000 per month for 12 months prior to submitting for the year extension of the 90 day non-o.

There is to my knowledge no "visa agents" – in the way you know them from for example Pattaya – on Koh Samui. The mentioned office outside Samui Immigration can assist you with your paperwork for extension of stay, but you still need to be eligible for extension of stay; i.e. among other things having the funds.

 

Samui Immigration has a reputation for not issuing a non-O visas domestically; so if OP need that, he should use another immigration office – Samui Immigration can be little special strict and add their own rules.

 

A visa agent some other place might be able to fix an extension of stay, even one lives on Samui – ask one of the agents in for example Pattaya about what they can provide of service.

I didn't say only 40,000 baht, as my thai partner also works, self employed, her averaging 100,000/month

I should ad, the Aussie pension, depending on exchange rates, is close to 50,000 baht per month, if I can survive in Oz, then I can survive in Thailand... I have previously lived, in Thailand, for 5 years, returned to Oz when my Thai wife passed away.

Yes, he won't need that much if not supporting a family here.  30K/mo is plenty, unless one likes to "party" a lot, or has other expensive tastes.
