A crash occurred on the Surin-Prasat Road, on November 11, resulting in the tragic deaths of a family of three, including a four year old child. The collision took place at kilometre marker 15 near Ban Don Ok in Surin province.

Police Lieutenant Chakrit Nisairam, Deputy Inspector at Sawai Police Station, received a report about a fatal collision involving a motorcycle that had crashed into the back of a parked pickup truck. Rescue personnel and medical staff from Surin Hospital quickly arrived on the scene.

At the crash site, authorities found a heavily damaged orange-and-white Fino motorcycle. The victims were identified as Mr. Attachai, 28, the motorcycle rider, his wife, Ms. Narinthorn, 22; and their four year old son. Tragically, all three were confirmed deceased at the scene.

Approximately six metres from the motorcycle, police discovered a black, four-door pickup truck with visible dents at the rear where the motorcycle had collided. The driver of the pickup truck, Mr. Teerawut 25, an employee of a local delivery company, was waiting to speak with authorities.

Mr. Teerawut recounted the incident, explaining that he had parked his vehicle along the roadside to deliver a parcel to a nearby store. Suddenly, he heard a loud crash from behind. Upon investigation, he found that a motorcycle had collided with his truck’s rear, and the riders were seriously injured. He immediately contacted emergency services, but sadly, all three succumbed to their injuries before help could arrive. Mr. Teerawut expressed deep sorrow over the tragic outcome.

Police documented the scene and took Mr. Teerawut in for further questioning at the station. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to follow due legal procedures.

I'm sure the dark pick up had his lights on or hazard lights?

It's a very sad situation where blaming the deceased is not going to bring them back helmets of course should be a must for everyone.

As far as 3 on a bike I'm sure we've all seen worse if that's your budget that's your budget unless we all start paying triple for any work thais do for us

How the heck do you crash into a stationary vehicle? Plus, are 3 or more people allowed on a motorcycle? If we go by the manufacturers safety notices in the operator manuals...NO! ....and let me guess, all three people had no helmets.

2 adults and a child on a motorbike is SOP. You can't lay blame on this accident.

Wow, the police made that "DISCOVER" approximately 6 meter from the motorcycle?

At least in London you'd be wearing a proper helmet and not have a 4-year-old on the bike.

True.  In London have seen plenty of children riding pillion, but yeah they have protective gear on.  Not many as young as 4 though on motorbikes, but plenty on bicycles.
