uncletiger Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Nearly 2 weeks ago I submitted my application for extension of stay based on marriage at Pathumthani immigration. Normally, within 2 days they call my wife to schedule a home visit. This year, they are quiet. No calls at all. I have tried to call them, but they seem unwilling to answer their phone, and the Line channel they provide just gives automated responses with no information. Has Bangkok changed the rules regarding home visits for extensions based on marriage? Both myself and my wife exhaustively checked our phones for a missed call and can't find anything. I hate to make a trip all the way back there in person just to ask a question, but I don't want to let the clock run out only to find my application was rejected because of a bureaucratic mistake. Does anyone have any recent experience with this?

Up to immigration to visit. Chill and return for final stamp on date indicated.
Lite Beer Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 Not everyone receives a house visit. I have never had one in over 20 years. Up to them if they want to visit or not. Don't worry.
patman30 Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 some places only do visits for the first 2 years if same address
