Trump's 'huge lie' shows 'he’s taking everyone for an idiot': analysis

Trump visited the White House yesterday, where he was welcomed by Joe Biden. And Trump even thanked Biden for the smooth transition.

Does anyone see the irony here? I mean, the last time Trump was in the WH, he tried everything he could to remain there, and wasn’t even at the inauguration of Biden.
And imagine Trump were president now, and Harris had beaten him the way Trump has beaten Harris. Do you think Trump would have the courtesy to invite Harris to the WH? Not a snowball’s chance in hell!

Not once did trump prove the election was a fraud. Of course trump won't claim fraud now he has won though he is appointing conspiracy theorists for his upcoming administration, At least one of whom is a white supremist, Stephen Miller.

Once Biden was removed from office by his own people, why would he have any problem with Trump? He seemed glad Trump won!

By the way, surprise, surprise, Trump and his team are already breaking the law:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/surprise-surprise-trump-presidency-already-173119922.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAEibhd_ucJRga1p9-H-kZma8PajtOY0_VYsHbvqPX3NQcYXPe10tN3kZjIB1W2qXZQFuTW3yMHnzDZmhrxJWcWrbTFCMWG9QuBvWZYT6WbLXQbppNZy11_M_NFGXTj8I5ssdNrgXhE8B-b2PGXZ50ZaH9hKmUjWwb3OIyFajp_hA

Gee, who’d have thunk it?  Anybody wants to bet how many times he and his team are going to break the law again? Trump apparently wants Matt Gaetz for Attorney General. Matt Gaetz, the (alleged) child molester and kiddy fiddler, is nominated to be the next Attorney General of the USA. Let that sink in for a minute.

Yes, I think it ironic that Biden called Trump a fascist, a dictator and claimed his election would be the end of democracy in the US. Now, Biden congratulates Trump and promises to help all he could to help all he can with the transition.

I also think it ironing that no Bod Casey is an election denier and he trying to overturn a free and fair election and not a peep from the left.

Unconstitutional laws and orders by either party should, and will be, challenged in court. Political lawfare hasn't been a Trump/Republican modus operandi and was never a big problem until Biden/Harris. Trump probably won't engage it except to root out the corruption and those responsible, as much as possible. Or so we might hope.

And it's not as if Trump would have tried to overturn the 2020 election or obstructed justice after stealing presidential records!

Oh wait! 😃

Sure, in the MAGA alternate universe, Trump did not try to overturn elections! 😃

Oh, and in this MAGA alternate universe, Trump actually won the 2020 election! 😃

I think you are drinking too much CNN/MSN Kool-aide or listening to too much Whoopie dribble.  I have family in the USA, and they all say the economy is sucking.  The election was proof positive that nobody cares what the woke people think.  If you get yourself into a wokeism rehab clinic, you'll be just fine.  Best of luck

Actually I hold three citizenships, born and raised In London, UK. I'm interested in international affairs, but interested in trump's activities as they have a general impact across the Western world. IMO trump is a threat to US democracy / policies which flow through to other nations. Whatever I post makes no difference whatsoever, just posting my thoughts on trump's acts, which IMO, are contrary to common decency at all levels.

Apparently the majority disagrees with your common decency stance.

There are two options: either Trump lied or, after all lawsuits, recounts and audits failed, he is unable to distinguish reality from fiction. He's either a liar or a moron. Choose your pick! 😃

Several of his aides claimed he knew he was lying....

Casey has the right to ask for a recount according to the law, as anyone else. And as usual, It's a false equivalence. What is wrong is not to ask for a recount, It's to go on lying after all recounts and audits failed, as Trump did.

Well, there is a third option.

Casey is an election denier. Does he have the right to contact his supporters and ask them to find votes?

Lame false equivalence again! 😀

He will be an election denier only if he still claims to have won after the recount has been made (and lawsuits fail, in case there are lawsuits)

Another false equivalence!

He did not call the Secretary of State and ask to find him 11.,700 votes! 😀

i don't know what you are talking about   but if he has done something which is illegal, he must be indicted and convicted. I have absolutely no problem with it!

Same for Biden and Harris. If they try to overturn the election after calling a SoS to find them 11,700 votes, plot fake electors lists, and send a mob to assault the Capitol, let's indict them!

Not my economic analysis. Naturally the economy took a while to recover and stabilise after Covid which is now happening. Unsure how much government can actually achieve on controlling consumer costs other than policies lowering inflation, But should trump increase tariffs consumer costs will increase.

BTW enough of the personal MAGA insults, it's very childish

You attack tariffs, because you claim they will raise prices, and they might, but at the same time you want to raise corporate income taxes, which will absolutely raise prices, and again, when anyone says it will drive up prices you call them greedy, or stupid or a liar. Both raise prices, but tariffs benefit domestic manufacturers, while raising taxes benefits foreign companies.

Kindly don't put words in my mouth. I mentioned tariffs as trump has lied so many times about the economic impact.
