sorry mate, not brit slang, shows where you keep your head so its out of natural light, suggest you look at the map of the way the US voted, wasnt just a small percentage. I realize you would much prefer that the dem city votes had more power but they dont get to run the rest of the country, it ensures all states have their voice heard not just big dem cities.

Bizarre post.

I never said a small percentage.

Trump indeed won by a modest margin.

Yes British.

Why deny?

I can see dummy spit is Aussie/NZ origin but not American.

The election is done.

What Trump 2.0 is doing has just begun.

If you find that boring, you may just not read about it. Sorted.

While I admire your tenacity and agree with 99% of what you post, you're just wasting your time. You will NEVER get past the dense layers of denial Fox viewers have plastered on their heads. The best we can do is sit back, make a big bowl of popcorn, and watch the sh!tshow as it unravels. Intentionally uninformed/misinformed Amerikkka has decided this is the tack she is now going to take.

And remember, Amerikkka has an average reading level below 6th grade.

Who was it that said he loves the poorly educated? THIS is why the last election was lost.

I see this as a more grey area.

On the one hand I think the maga voting public will need to personally experience the pain Trump 2.0 will definitely bring but on the other hand the history of autocratic regime shows earlier rather than later engagement gives better chances of reducing the severity and hope of reversal.

Sadly, this is the wrong forum to do that. Sides have been clearly  delineated. You will never change a MAGA opinion. This is red meat to them, they LOVE to eff with you!

An interesting read here, explaining how the US has become a factionalized anocracy [a degenerating democracy] that is quickly approaching the open insurgency stage. A second civil war is brewing, we're closer than we want to admit.

Three times on a single page you have  clasified a large group of people as dumb.

Keep digging in with that style it's worked out so well in the past.

Here's four.

Indeed. Funded by oligarchs. That's the point. Musk knew exactly what he was doing when he offered Twitter a price they couldn't refuse.

Musk tried to back out of the deal. Twitter forced him to go through with it.

So, do you think Musk paid that much then decide4d he'd been duped? Do you think the richest man in the world didn't know the true financial state of a public company? Musk knew what he was doing.

Bloomberg, Gates, Soros, etc....

All democrats.

Zuckerberg, Bezos, Cuban just to name a few more prominent ones. In addition, both sides had their share of hedge fund managers and other lesser known billionaires, and let's not forget Oprah.

I'm not suggesting that my posts here are going to help save American democracy from the Trumpist autocratic takeover. This is a discussion forum. Very important things are happening and will be happening after the election. I find the attacks that we shouldn't talk any more just because the election is over and we have a clear winner to be completely ridiculous.

One thing that will be interesting to watch and has already started -- Trump Voter Regret.

Trump voters saying stuff like we didn't vote for this or that even though they really have no excuse this time as Trump has made it very clear what he's about to anyone giving the tiniest effort to have found out.

I expect as the pain of his policies hit, that phenom to become very significant and if there are real midterms, hopefully be reflected in those results.

As far as a potential civil war, I wouldn't go there yet worrying about it. The divisions are certainly as deep as they were in the last one but it isn't the same geographical situation. Take a state like Georgia. Voted red but it's population centers very blue.

There are things that might spark something though.

Miller has talked about sending in state national guards from red states into blue states to enforce mass deportations. That's definitely skating on thin ice.

Stupidity rules now. We are all just hoping for the best.....😆

Well, based on Trump's actions so far and he's not even in office yet, I would say hope ain't gonna cut it.

Do you think America needs a "second civil war?"

Does the rest of the world deserve America's "second civil war?"

You're amazing.

Not too shabby for just another dumb prole, eh?

There are fools and tools on both sides of the partisan divide but for the record, I'm not a Harris prole.
