why would someone rape in a country where sex is so readily available everywhere?

Rape is about POWER, not sex.

I would have thought all aseannow's mysoginist apologists knew this already?

Where did I write It's only in Pattaya?

My point is just that when there is wide access to cheap sex,it is less likely that people feel the need to assault a women. Unless the guy is broke.

Sexual assault is about POWER, not sex.

You disgust me... Taking a story with very little details and making it into a heinous crime. Twisting the words for assault and harassment to suit your needs or beliefs when there is a very big difference especially in punishment to the perp.

You have no idea what happened in the elevator other than he touched her face and other places and not even sure those other places would constitute an assalt charge. Then you twist it into sexual assault.. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I see that the police have arrested the man for sexual assault. Are you planning to pop by the station and offer them your interpretation?  Explain it was a misunderstanding?

The unwanted contact and the video is clear as is the fact that she was terrified.

I'd say those are adequate details, thanks. His behavior is as heinous, as your attempts to dismiss it,

Also, I did not twist the words, I provided a definition for them.  My needs do not come into the equation.

I hope one day you are in an elevator and a woman enters and you happenstance touch her shoulder or even her back to guide her. And she files a sexual assault charge on you.

yeah, no.

I don't touch people I don't know. Nor can i see why I would need to guide someone in an elevator beyond a tap on the shoulder if they could not hear me and were in my way.

There are non-threatening ways to initiate contact, and your spurious example here has nothing to do with the actions of the man in the video

Actually, i can see what happened in the elevator, video is like that.

Again the unwanted contact is clear. Her fear is evident. If anything in the video he does appears like acceptable behavior to you, I think its best you stay in or find someone to keep you in line if you do venture out.

you just get creepier with every post, doncha?
