Wizz TV
I've been with Comfy a while now, and although not perfect, it's quite a good, cheap service. I pay a fraction of what I used to pay, and in my old service I had many buffering problems. Most obstacles of buffering can be overcome by turning on as VPN. All IPTV services are only good for so long, but Comfy seems to be up there. Maybe, you just had a bad experience. -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
Could any of you legendry learn-ed folk please help with comments on the extremely complicated scenario outlined below, if able: I've lived and worked (with work permit) in Thailand for many years, staying on extensions based on marriage, but now may end my employment with my wife's Thai Co. as am only going to be here in LOS for 5 months each year, with the intention of working remotely. I would like to explore surrendering my WP and changing over from a Non-im B visa to a DTV, as during the time I spend in Thailand, I will now be working remotely for my small UK company. Benefits seem to be, I could keep 500,000 THB equivalent in a UK account (Gov't Premium Bond savings account?) and still (legally) work remotely for my UK Co. while in Thailand. OK so far? I'm guessing I'd be pioneering, suspecting there are no reports yet of someone attempting to go from a Non-Im B to a DTV. I do wonder what mental contortions that would put Thai DTV officials through though? Any helpful thoughts, anyone? -

Pattaya Police Raid Homes, Arrest 17 Chinese Nationals Linked to Cross-Border Loan Sharks
Picture from the raid. Pattaya police, on November 28, arrested 17 Chinese nationals allegedly operating as administrators for a major illegal loan shark syndicate targeting thousands of victims in China. Acting on a warrant issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court, police raided two homes in the Pratumnak area of South Pattaya, Chonburi Province, which had been rented as operational bases. The suspects are accused of managing illegal loans and debt collection on behalf of the syndicate, with evidence revealing a cash flow of approximately 135 million baht. Each administrator reportedly earned monthly salaries of several hundred thousand baht, excluding commissions based on the amount of loans disbursed and debts recovered. Police are intensively questioning the suspects and investigating further connections to the transnational loan shark network. Pol. Lt. Gen. Yingyos Thepchamnong, Acting Commissioner of Region 2, is scheduled to hold a press conference to provide more details on the operation, which is part of an ongoing crackdown on criminal networks exploiting the region. -- 2024-11-29 -
