Reportedly, France made a deal to not act on the warrant if Israel let it participate with the US in monitoring the Lebanese ceasefire. Notwithstanding, the independence of the French judiciary could persuade Netanyahu not to take chances with visiting France.

But the 123 other Coutries haven't agreed to act on the warrants , as you stated that they did

Correct, and a reasonable motive for supprting the Palestinians!

It would have been in South Africa's best interests to remain an allie of Israel .

The once independant and prosperous South Africa has now been reduced to being on Iran's payroll and being controlled by Iran and accepting money under the table to carry out Iran's orders

No its just evidence of Hamas using Gazan civilians as human shields.

In your previous comment, you made no reference to the "human shields" excuse. It was only to trivialize the deaths in Gaza compared to previous conflicts. But changing the subject is a frequently used evasion tactic in this thread.

I didn't say "mostly" . I said that Jews have been living on the land of Israel for continuously  3500 years , (where  "Most" Jews lived is irrelevant ) and they have

So how does that give them claim to all the land to the exclusion of those who have been there just as long as them?

It is not an excuse, its a fact. Something you like to ignore.

My point was that Jews have continually been living on the land for 3500 years , I wasn't claiming that no one else can live on the land

Yes the one who's under investigation.

That commenter was possibly referring to Karim Khan, but for some reason brought up the nationality of the chief judge of a different court, the ICJ, as being the nationality of K Khan.

So what, what is a fact is that the prosecutor Karim Khan is under investigation for sexual misconduct with one of his staff.

So why didn't Egypt end that agreement and allow food trucks in ?

It may be because the current Egyptian gevernment overthrew the government elected in 2011, which was backed by the Muslim Brotherhood. This group and Hamas are ldeologically close. However, public opinion in Egypt stongly backs the Palestinian cause, so Egypt is not making obstacles to food trucks entering Gaza. That is entirely due to the IDF inspections and settlers who block trucks or loot them while the IDF looks on.

The Rome Statue is a treaty that obliges the signatories to arrest and supercedes national law, so France and others who use flabby excuses for not doing their duty are violating international law by inaction.

The ICC also indicted 3 Hamas leaders.

The Palestinian supporters who support war crimes , should not mention any international laws .

As they support war crimes and war criminals , international  laws shouldn't apply to them .

Until they abide by laws , they shouldn't want others to abide by them either

Nope, only one arrest warrant for a Hamas leader was issued and he's already dead anyway. You really need to do some research, all this false info you are spewing

IDF claims that they kill civilians as collateral damage, but the question of proportionality is important here. While the killing already appears very disproportionate, it will only be after the IDF is out of Gaza that the full numbers can be tabulated, for combattants vs civilians. Besides that there are many video clips of wanton shooting of apparent civilians.

Refer to IHL rule 14 on proportionality, its been discussed numerous times in these topics. The arrest warrants are not for video clips. Hamas does not care about proportionality by the way, it deliberately sacrifices its own citizens.

Is it just an hysterical confusion or an intention to make Khan into an Arab Lebanese, i.e. biased, rather than a British man born in Edinburgh?

As far as the claim of sexual misconduct is concerned, that happens often enough, and does not change the facts leading to the warrants being issued.

This is more likely to prevent Gazans moving en masse into Egypt. As I commented before, Egypt is not blocking the trucks.

It involves allegations of dishonesty from Khan, why are you trying to dismiss its importance. There are credible voices asking him to step down while the external investigation happens.

Statement on Allegations of Misconduct Against ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan

Firstly, we call for an impartial, independent and comprehensive external investigation into the allegations. Secondly, we call for the temporary discontinuation of the Prosecutor’s duties, effective immediately and until the external investigation has concluded. Thirdly, we advocate for a feminist leadership approach to accountability – one that prioritizes processes and measures to prevent further harm, recognizes structural oppression and global power hierarchies, and commits to transforming harmful workplace cultures.

You mean there's a genocide going on in Gaza and Egypt are keeping Palestinians locked in Gaza to face a certain death?

Wouldnt that mean that Egypt are complicit in the genocide ?

There could have been no deaths at all if Egypt would have let the Gazians out of Gaza .

Why doesn't Egypt put an end to the "genocide" by allowing Gazians out of Gaza ?

Israel has killed more civilians in Gaza than any other war in the last 20 years. Over 40,000 mainly verified deaths, with some estimates that as many as 10,000 more are buried under the rubble. 70% women and children. US health workers who have worked in Gaza estimate that starvation and disease have killed even more - maybe over 60,000 (mainly infants and young children. Another 5,000 have died due to lack of medical care.

Hardly a proportional response.

There are several videos in the links, but CNN did not post the video discussed. As I explained, there are many links referring to videos without posting them. If you google the term "IDF shooting Palestinians video" you can also find YouTube videos and many discussions of IDF atrocities.

There far more videos of Hamas atrocities all verified by Hamas themselves who took them, beheadings, torture, massacres of civilians.
