'Deception and denial': Voter views reveal dark truth about Trump's 'mandate'

Recommended Posts

How strong his mandate is, is a matter of opinion. The GOP controls the house, the senate and the whitehouse. They also have a right leaning SCOTUS. The question is can they act in lock step like the dems did before them? If they do the mandate is huge. If not, well the GOP has had this situation and bungled it before.

However the GOP does seem to be in supercharged mode right now.

'Deception and denial': Voter views reveal dark truth about Trump's 'mandate'

How big is Donald Trump’s mandate?

data suggests it was a much closer contest than he and his allies are suggesting.

His communications director Steven Cheung has called it a "landslide" victory. Yet it emerged this week that his share of the vote has fallen below 50%, as counting continues.

'Serwer spoke with several Trump supporters' do you think "several" out of 76.9m risks not being a representative sample? This is MSN relying on the low level of sophistication of it's readers. Not just the small sample size that would be completely meaningless statistically but HOW were they selected. what was the format of the discussion/questions.?

They cherry pick several out of 76.9m and claim it is representative. Any bona fide market researcher or scientist would laugh at that (as I am). You keep falling for this. We don't.

Hey lookie, that's not a floating turd, it's Soviet Central planning. I just heard a flush, oh look, here comes transgender worship stuck to that hunk of Charmin. And I will say that new Jaguar commercial sure looks like somebody was sticking a Dipper down there in the cesspool

I'm wondering how long it takes Jaguar to wake up and realize that the kind of people who buy Jaguars probably won't appreciate the nutty brand makeover, and it's certainly not going to sell any cars.  Who owns the company these days?

Hes preparing for the Mars journey, no room for extra spacesuits. I wonder how Capt Cook smelled 6 weeks into the voyage. Although it could be has has 47 identical outfits, not like he has to wait for a sale.

PS: he smells like he has 350 billion dollars. He probably doesnt change his clothes because he has been drawing spaceships on cocktail napkins. When he gets a hole in his pants, he changes. Hello? Hello? Its Elon. Yeah, I have a hole in my pants and I need some new clean clothes. Why dont you go over to Nordies and buy the whole store so I dont have to shop. Not for sale? Well I dont have time for this, Mars awaits, buy Levi Strauss and Co then. Get me a Tshirt factory too while you are at it. And the exec bathroom is out of bingo tickets, buy Proctor and Gamble.

No wonder people don’t trust the MSN these days.

This is why Comcast is divesting MSNBC.  It's become irrelevant tosh like most other main-stream media far-Left propaganda outlets.

Interestingly, Elon Musk is sort of jokingly talking about buying it.

You're not coping at all. Time to move on in life.

The articles are opinion pieces which acknowledge trump's win by Electoral College, but in their opinion does not equate to a large mandate as claimed by trump as he he has received less than 50% of the overall votes; very easy to comprehend accept by MAGA world. On the other side of the coin the Dems are not claiming fraud, corruption etc for their loss as trump has done with 2020 results and still does.

Based upon response on this platform I'd say fairly accurate, but as I posted above nothing compares to the volume of lies and BS with trump's 2020 loss.

Your commentary is a great description of MAGA world whining about their 2020 loss with trump still doing so.

Nice try. Flush: Oh look there goes DEI and yesterdays chili.

You people who hate Trump with a vengeance are so butt-hurt that just like between 2016 to Jan 2021, all we are going to hear from you is "Trump Is Literally Hitler."

Had Harris won, I really would not have liked it, just like when Biden won.  Not because I'm a Trump supporter, but because I detest the type of progressive liberalism that these people represent and promote.  But!  I didn't have a meltdown and lose my sh*t over the Biden win, and had Harris/Waltz won I wouldn't have lost my sh*t over that either.

Very honestly.  Do you people suffer from some kind of deep-seated psychological issues that manifest in this almost suicidal angst and loathing when everything doesn't go your way? This is what spoiled little children do - throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way. That's an honest question because your reactions are not those of mature adults who can cope.  Your reactions are infantile to the point of absurdity.

Trump won, Harris lost.  A Trump administration will government, probably with a Republican Senate and House for the next 2 to 4 years.  House elections are again in 2026 and presidential elections in 2028 (if this planet isn't a smoking frozen post-nuclear holocaust ball of ice).

I mean really - grow up and act like mature adults.

Spot on there, strangely some of the biggest haters are not even American, don't live there and have probably never been there- like the OP. Can't imagine an American in Chicago or LA having a meltdown and obsessing over somebody they never met and don't know winning, say, an Australian election.

A few opinions say nothing about any mandate and are just hot air gullible MSNBC viewers think significant.

No, everyone comprehends that Dems will continue counting late until their candidate has the majority. And we all know it's impossible to verify the validity of the vote because blue states have lax to no real ID requirements for voting and will even insist they are definitely going to count illegal votes because laws don't matter.

"I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country," Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, a Democrat, said Thursday as she and other Democrats voted to reject a GOP-led challenge to ballots that should be disqualified.

--Pennsylvania Democrats openly admit to counting illegal ballots in McCormick-Casey race
