A Thai man and his daughter died under mysterious circumstances in their home in the southern province of Nakhon Si Thammarat. Relatives suspect their deaths may be linked to the woman’s belief in black magic.
A relative visited the home of 87 year old Samreng and his 57 year old daughter, Katechada, in the Pak Phun sub-district of Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat district yesterday, November 27. Upon arrival, the relative noticed an unpleasant smell and later discovered the decomposed bodies of the two.
Officers from the Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat Police Station were called to investigate. They found a sacred altar in the single-storey house, with Katechada’s body nearby. Samreng was found lifeless on a bed close to his daughter.
The bodies were in an advanced state of decomposition, and police believe they had been dead for more than ten days.
The relative told police that Katechada took her father to live with her and assured the family she would care for him. She barred anyone from entering her home and frequently refused visitors, cutting off all contact with relatives.
Out of concern for Samreng’s health, the relative visited the house and discovered both already died.
Samreng’s son revealed that his father was bedridden. He wanted to visit his father but said Katechada consistently rejected his requests. According to him, she often asked him for money, claiming it was for their father’s care.
Police suspect that Katechada may have distanced herself and her father from their relatives due to her superstitious beliefs, possibly to prevent interference with her practices.
As for the cause of death, police believe Katechada may have slipped and collapsed while walking in the house and died. Without proper care, her father may have subsequently died as well.
The bodies have been sent for autopsy at Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital, and the investigation into their deaths is ongoing.

No issue at all. Back home, I leave my Harley parked for up to 9-12 months at a time, connected to a battery tender, with full tank and a chemical stabilizer diluted in the fuel. I lift it off the ground to prevent the tires from becoming oval and cover it with a breathable blanket.
But for one month (which happened a lot of times when I lived there) I wouldn't bother doing anything of what mentioned above.
My next 90-day report at 15 days happens to be on a Sunday. Its do not process on Sundays. Have members found it better to wait until Monday? Thanks much.
