Because when he reimbursed his lawyer for arraigning a perfectly legal non-disclosure agreement, his bookkeeper listed it as a legal expense.

My pension is linked to Social Security and these asshats implementing their DOGE garbage ideas haven't a clue.

Oh, the naïveté. As businessmen, they most definitely do, unlike Biden/Harris and the rest of the socialists. You see, if the gummint's bankrupt, as Biden/Harris has run up the debt, then you got NO social security.

The national debt has soared past $36 trillion.

"America is going bankrupt fast," Musk warned in another post.

"The excess government spending is what causes inflation! ALL government spending is taxation. This is a very important concept to appreciate. It is either direct taxation, like income tax, or indirect via inflation due to increasing the money supply," he asserted in a tweet earlier this month.

This is what happens when hype triumphs over reason. The money has to come from somewhere to pay for the tax cuts Trump is promising.

And they'll use many ways of getting it, that fake news ignores.

I guess you haven't caught up with Mexico and Canada's threats of retaliation.

Mexico just caved on the border. Winning . . . 🙂

Oh, the misdemeanor bookkeeping charges that were brought because his accountant called payment for a non-disclosure agreement a legal fee?

That has been dropped.

Has Trump been promoted to the royal we, or is your use of "are" just another example of a poor education in the English language?

What tax cuts are is Trump promising? You have no idea, do you? All you can do is post links to what other leftists say. You (like most leftists), look at taxes as a zero-sum game.

The last tax cuts were great!

After Trump's last tax cut, about 95% of taxpayers paid less in taxes, tax revenues increased, "...and the share of taxes paid by the Top 1% of households increased while the tax burden paid by lower income earners decreased.

The truth is, the Trump tax cuts resulted in economic growth that was a full percentage point above CBO’s forecast, and federal revenues far outpaced the agency’s predictions. In fact, under Trump tax policies in 2022, tax revenues reached a record high of nearly $5 trillion, and revenues averaged $205 billion above CBO predictions for the four years following implementation of the law.

And a Happy Thanksgiving from Trump.😝 Note the inclusivity, so important to our libs.

Quote

Trump posted his Thanksgiving message to Truth Social on Thursday.

“Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote. “Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!”

From the first line of the article you linked:

House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) along with Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) issued the following statement

I don't think you could find a more partisan biased quote.   LOL

I can find a quote that says just the opposite:

The tax legislation that President Donald Trump signed in December 2017 significantly reduced federal revenues, with the largest tax cuts going to the richest Americans. Following the enactment of these tax cuts, federal revenues fell dramatically—as the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) and Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected would occur at the time the law passed1—and they remain below projections of federal revenues made prior to their enactment.

from: https://www.americanprogress.org/article/the-trump-tax-cuts-led-to-record-low-not-high-revenues-outside-of-a-recession/

The recent history of federal revenues can be found here:

https://www.thebalancemoney.com/current-u-s-federal-government-tax-revenue-3305762

Your use of 2022's revenues to show the power of 2017 tax cuts is hilarious.  The COVID stimulus payments, inflation and the strong post COVID recovery boosted those numbers greatly .

You really need to step up your analysis (if any) of the filtered information you soak up.

What in the report on the official House Budget Commitee website is factually untrue? Nothing.  It's bi-partisan committee.

You can post links to silly leftist websites, but you cannot dispute the facts in the report.
