Yes, Trump created the extra debt during his time in the big chair, but wait, he's been voted in again........

Perhaps you should swat up on the facts.............:coffee1:

It's amusing when you to tell someone to 'Swat up on the facts' while knowing very little yourself.

Can you elaborate on the extra debt Trump created, where & how?

Then why are they talking about retaliatory measures?

What happens to American gas prices when Trump has a 25% tariff on the oil imported from Canada? What happens to  sales of American cars when Canada puts a 25% tariff on them?

Wishful thinking on your part, or an overdose of Trump Kool-Aid.

So just leave everything as it is then and just forget about it.

This is a move in the right direction! As soon as he doesn't impose similar tariffs on Thailand... 555

I do know Trump owns 17 golf courses, and all except one are losing money hand over fist.

He tries to charge excessive fees for the Trump brand, smart golfers are not buying. Plenty of better quality competition.

And what's up with Canada? Are illegals and drugs flowing in over our northern border?

Possibly. Trudy and the Libs greenlit immigration to the hilt the last number of years as far as I understand. It's conceivable a few bad apples rode the wave in.

His history of bankruptcies, stiffing contractors and customers suggests Trump doesn’t either.

Thank God Harris didn't get in.

US is trillions in debt with millions homeless or poor. Stop being the world bank and look after your own.

Its hard to accept the article when its clearly coming from a bias point of view. Unfortunately nonthing is neutral any more.

Certainly when Trump related.

I am actually looking forward on just how Trump will help the working class and the homeless when he promised big tax cuts for the rich.

I was going to add (‘I look forward to you attacking the source’), but I thought doing so was superfluous, you’ve demonstrated that to be true.

The impact of Trump’s policies on national debt during his first term of office has been widely reported, so let’s quit with the pretense it’s the source.

Trump promised to decrease the national debt in 2016. That's probably the reason why Frank doesn't want to believe it.

I don't remember he made that promise again in 2024, but he did promise to bring prices down. 😀

His "America First' tariff hikes in his previous Presidency on China, Canada, Europe, Mexico provoked retaliatory actions and negatively affected the economy. Only idiots will repeat the same insanity and hope for a different outcome.

If they were that bad, then why did Biden keep them, also Biden copied Trump suggestion by putting 100% tariff on Chinese EVs

Largely symbolic as Chinese EVs were virtually locked out of the US by tariffs imposed by Trump and was targetted to help protect US car manufacturing jobs. Trump's tariffs are broad based on all imports with no specific target.
