I have a Thai gf

The both of us don't want to raise any kids

However, I would like to conceive a child. I'd like to have no formal relationship and responsibilities to the child, but perhaps get some pictures and updates every now and again if the mother feels like it. Basically I'd like to donate my sperm. I could do this back home and it would all be legally solid, but I'd like to do this in Thailand.

Is there any way to donate sperm in Thailand or conceive a child with a Thai lady, without the obligations that come with it?

And yes, my gf is fine with it

Grow your own!

It's just not feasible.  I even struggle to work more than 20 hours a week, while leaving enough time for rest, working out, exploring, eating, household chores etc. I cannot imagine having to raise a child. However, I am still very interested in fathering one.

What the hell are you thinking?not thinking at all?

Do you really think there is a woman out there who is stupid enough for that?

It’s probably safe to assume the op is a loner cooped up in an eighteen meter room bored witless and making up stories to kill the time.

And having a name Jimmy Tobacco says it all.

I think I will change mine to Billy Booze or Dopey David. 555

Or Cocaine Katy..........come on , name the song!

Parenting is about taking responsibility. If you don't understand that, you also don't have any business fathering a child.

Who are you to say so, if I could legally do so within the limits of the law? In most western countries sperm donation is a completely normal procedure, which is available to lesbian couples, single mothers and coupled mothers who have trouble conceiving with their partner. Both through sperm banks and personal arrangements. Responsibilities can be waived with simple forms signed by both parties most of the time. Do you object to that as well?

Do you REALLY think THAT was his point? 🤔

No, just you go have a J Arthur and pop down to your local clinic.

I have several female friends back in my home-country who have conceived a child with male friends or gay donors. Some are raising the child alone, some are not. How is this different? I don't have any problem if a woman wants to raise a child by herself and needs a donor.

I'm not sure, but it's MY point? I am asking if he objects to any form of sperm donation, since sperm donors are also fathering a child without taking responsibility. In fact, in most case the mother doesn't want them to take responsibility.

Ok, sure. But nothing to do with the post u responded to 😅😅 One is the woman's choice, one is not.

You are confusing apples and oranges. In Western society, there are plenty of women and childless couples who can financially support a sperm donor child, and are happy to do so.

The vast majority of Thais are poor, it's an entirely different economic system.

You really have tickets on yourself, if you think a single Thai female rich enough to take full responsibility  would prefer a luk krueng over a pure Thai child.

All I'm asking is if this procedure (basically sperm donation in any shape or form) is possible in Thailand, as it is in the west. If it is, I am sure there are ways to that they will verify the woman has enough economic resources to raise the child by herself. If not, I can still verify that myself. There are plenty of single moms in Thailand who are raising a child and doing just fine.

And I do think there are probably Thai females out there who'd prefer to have a luk krueng. Being white is quite an advantage in Thai society.

Ehm, you are assuming I want to make a woman pregnant against her own wishes?!

Well you seem to be saying that in my case, it is apparently not a woman's own choice that I won't take responsibility.

Am I correct?

No. I am saying your response had nothing to do with the post you responded to. You just had to get your feelings out, whether it had anything to do with what you were responding to or not 🤣

Ok but you say that " One is the woman's choice, one is not". What do you mean with this?

I'll leave you to ponder that for a while... Let me know what you come up with 😅

It sounds like you don't want the responsibility of fathering a child, but you do want to be able to watch "your child" grow up.

I do understand this, but I think that you might be asking a little much.  Even if you find someone who is interested in having a baby and, for whatever reason, wants your sperm to do it, it's actually quite a big ask to want to have regular updates without involvement.

Unless you're making financial contributions, what is the motivation for them to send you regular updates?  It's very likely that she/they would want nothing to do with you and would really want to forget about the fact that the sperm came from you.  Especially if it is a man and woman.

I think you have very unrealistic expectations.

There are plenty of single Thai moms who leave children with grandparents, while they head to Bangkok and Pattaya to support them.

Permit me to doubt they are doing just fine.

You obviously don't read stories of discrimination against luk kruengs in Thai schools.

While we all have rose-colored glasses at some time in our lives, I'm just wondering what brought on this off-the-wall fantasy.

You clearly didn't know what you meant either. Maybe you can ponder your own behavior for a while, writing absolute gibberish and then not wishing to explain yourself.
