Just tried it. I asked if the house I am looking at is in the ghetto and it didn't scold me. However it did type it as "ghetto" Anyway thanks for the info.

Did you ask if Pattaya is a retirement ghetto for western men? Or Beverly Hills a ghetto of the rich? Or is " fill I the bank" ghetto chic?

Seems many are missing the irony here of a musk platform admitting to outright lies and misinformation on a musk platform.

You're missing the part about "The consensus among experts seems to be..."

Misinformation and lies are being called out by "experts".  But what if the "experts" are the ones lying?  You know, the paid political hacks telling us Biden is fit as a fiddle, the 51 lying intelligence experts, and the paid "safe and effective" shills.

It's quite funny that the left still don't understand why Trump won. Other posters repeatedly explain why Harris lost and still your only comeback is to call folks dumb for voting Trump.

They're not mutually exclusive.

X is a social media platform.

It is not moderated the way other social media platforms are. It is moderated to stay in line with the law.

That means - all comments are within the law for the country you are reading them in.

That means - all comments are legal and within the law. If the law changes, so will X.

What the other social media platforms do is police speech above and beyond the law. They police it to prevent hurt feelings or to keep comments in line with the governments version of the truth - ala COVID.

Given that X is within the law. That misinformation is protected. What is the problem? And if there is a problem - what could be done to prevent it other than completely arbitrary rules that are not within the law?

Copilot is better than the free version of chatGPT because it includes the latest version of ChatGPT.

We don't use that.

Grok is ok - but not a serious tool yet - not for marketing and development

ChatGPT is good - BUT - you should NOT use the free version of any AI. Free versions use your data for training the AI - it's an intellectual property nightmare. We pay for GPT and let it learn within our area - but it wont teach anyone else what we taught it.

No different than chattering in a tavern except safer and don’t have worry about physical altercations. But I’d assume many here would like moderators minding drunks in a bar so they don’t spread misinformation

Right, the issue is different for organisations which need to protect information. An 'isolated' solution is better.

Yeah, Americans are the most gullible to misinformation on earth.

Nearly every one I meet sprouts conspiracy theories and them backs it up by not having a clue about things that you would think are common knowledge facts.

i don’t think it will ever go back to being normal where two good, qualified sensible candidates present costed and well laid out policies.

Trump played it well, the large numbers of republicans that didn’t vote for him were outnumbered by the less intelligent and less educated that make up about 10% of the population and another 10% who are religious nutters who got out to vote for him.

Plus he appealed to all the racists.

You don’t need clear economic policies when you have all of the dumbest, the fanatically religious and the racists voting for you.
52% of the populatiobut has the cunning of a foxn is enough.

Platforms like X distributes misinformation that these groups lap up.

Exactly !

Trump possesses the brains of a maggot but a degree of cunning that was utilized in employing him as an intelligent entrepreneur front man in the scripted "You're Fired" television series that initiated "reality tv" which spawned prolific followers  in delusional fascination.

From the day he inherited multiple millions from his  father Trump has lost more wealth than he has gained and even those gains are subject to liability forestalled only by perpetuated legal dispute enabled by sycophants unable to comprehend outcome similar to Guliani .
