Tourism Tourism Shock: Thailand's Visitor Numbers See Alarming Plunge
Over the years we have drove from Phuket to Bangkok a few times always stopping in HH on the way back overnight, I've never seen it busy, we normally stay in a hotel on the main road as you are heading out of HH I cant think of the name, but it is owned by Sansiri, it's a good hotel nice rooms, If you think HH is bad then don't go to Cha Am it's like a morgue, we only did that once. -

Community Villagers Demand Action After Foreigner’s Pit Bulls Maul Dog to Death
Pits and their kinds do cause most of the deaths and damages, but Shepherds, Dobermans, Huskies and Bulldogs kill also. It does make a difference if the animal is trained since birth to respect and be calm, around people and other animals. The only times, 2 , I was bit was a two very small dogs also. If cats were bigger, they would do a lot of damage like their cousins the leopards, lions and tigers. We live in a country with over 20 species of venomous snakes, which can kill in a hour, but they won't kill all of them because they are here for a reason, although avoiding them isn't always easy.
