The violent Pro Hamas protesters have in large been inspired by the media. Here we have the awful results starting to filter through.

You're deflecting to Al Jazeera which is not the BBC or CNN authorship. I have watched Al Jazeera English on the ground reporting which personally I think is excellent coverage given the pressure the reporters are under. they do not promote Hamas 7/10 attack.. Numerous reporters have been killed in Gaza, including those from Al Jazeera, so it's not surprising very little other MSN on the ground reporting. It is complete nonsense to claim CNN & BBC gave little coverage of 7/10. Hamas rule by the gun in Gaza they're is no independent official reporting, though it's not difficult to agree in general with the death and injuries count given the daily air and military attacks as well as some reports from Western medical staff (brave people) attempting to provide some assistance.

 

Personally I disagree with the use of 'genocide' by Al Jazeera.

Western civilisation has been sleep walking into calamity. Thank goodness Trump will shake it out of its complacency, while hopefully ending conflicts where Left leaders (often conflicted by their socialist roots), typically mince their words and struggle to get things done.
 

How about the murder and injuries of Palestinians caused by the IDF under the war crime cabinet orders. Or don't the 43,000 deaths and over 100,000 injured matter to you? 

 

Or the land and properties illegally stolen on Israeli government orders and given to Israeli settlers?

 

or the fact that the IDF stands idly by whilst the few aid convoys that are allowed through are looted. The looters cannot be Hamas or the IDF would have shot them all.

 

However if anybody says ANTHING against Israel they are immediately condemned (only by Israel) as Anti-Semitic.

You're doing exactly what I'm referring to: 43,000 is Hamas number 1. with no attempt to analyze those numbers, 2. contextualize  in terms that conflicts unfortunately cause civilian deaths, 3. exacerbated by deliberate Hamas strategy of using human shields. Of course the death and injured numbers matter, is tragic. So why don't we see much more pressure applied for Hamas to lay down their arms and return the hostages?

I don't condone what Israeli Centre/Right governments have done over the years in allowing settlers to take more land in the West Bank - but have some sympathy when confronted with the reality of Israel being attacked so many times over the decades with either full stage warfare from outside or localised terrorism from Moslem inhabitants.

Do you think Hamas militants wear uniforms? Why would the IDF get in the line of fire when they are there to root out scum, not run the place - isn't that what the UNRWA is meant to do?

By all means, say things about Israel, they're not squeaky clean. No democracy is. However that part of the world has a huge problem accepting Israel's right to exist and can't blame Israel for doing what they do to survive.

Sounds like Australia has been importing the same type of doctors nurses and engineers that the UK has. I suspect from the same region. Possibly with the same belief system. 

 

Australians should be very grateful that the cultural enrichers will boost their economy  and peace tolersnce and joy will fill the streets.
