You can't be serious? In excess of 60% of Canadians have private health care coverage. It is called group health  or private health and is first sourced at the workplace. It insures the worker and their immediate family. The coverage  is portable upon leaving employment or retirement. Dental care, medications, eye glasses, diagnostic procedures such as blood sampling or MRIs can be done in the private care system and all are reimbursable. Mental health care, physiotherapy, audiologists, speech therapy and travel health insurance  is provided by the private system. The health insurers administer and pay these claims.
