WTF?

I did some dodgy stuff now and again at 14, but this kid makes me look like a saint.

The bar was still open and upon inspection, officers were alarmed to find four underage customers, including a 14-year-old patron.

I know it will not happen. but this kids parents should be arrested and charged with allowing their child to be out so late without their presence. It is no wonder that lately teens are acting out, joining gangs, killing or injuring others when their parents take no actions to care and raise their kids and allow them to be out late without any repercussions or punishments.

In the US, if your child does not go to school. The police can arrest the parent. If they are caught out late at night without the parents presence, the parents can be charged with neglect and lack of care over the child. Thailand needs to adopt some laws that ultimately make the caregiver responsibility over what they allow their child to do.

Yeah well, it's not like the US is a great example of safety on the streets at night from juveniles is it?

obviously not.. but then parents in Thailand never seem to show responsibility for their kids or for taking care of them.

Agreed there.... you hear so many cases of 13-14 year olds out and about in gangs after midnight.... and at that age cannot be charged with any crime whatever they get up to.

How difficult could it be for police to check for licenses for bars in their areas on a regular basis ?  It seems these places are only discovered when there is a big issue. I guess the monthly  brown envelopes are preferred.
