People seem to have trouble differentiating between Israelis and Jews. One is a state, the other a religion. You can like one and not the other.

Read your links!

They  contain words/phrases like "may have hit", "if confirmed", "White House officials privately warned Iran in direct conversations about the suspicious research activities", "former nuclear weapons test building".  There is no definitive proven source to state that Israel, or anyone else, "has blown up nuclear installations" that were currently active at the time of the so called attacks!

@spidermike007 criticized Israel indirectly by writing “finally Israel has done something beneficial …” and is accused immediately as being ungrateful, disgraceful, bigoted and anti-Semitic and even when he informs us, that he actually is a Jew and his comment was not meant to be anti-Semitic but only to criticize the actual government of Israel, he still is ridiculed and confronted with a “proof” that Jews can be anti-Semitic too.

I'm not interested in partaking in this discussion, but what happened to “what makes you think that Israel hasn't been doing anything beneficial in the last years?” or “can you prove this statement?” or even prove him wrong by giving counterexamples?

Is that all what is left from respectful discussions where we would use arguments based on facts and proof and at the end of the day maybe even agree and if not, at least understand the position of our opponents?

Anti-Semitism is rightfully criticized but if you nip any discussion about or criticism of Israel in the bud by screaming “racist” or ”anti-Semite” you are actually creating anti-Semitism which makes you part of the problem.

His points were addressed in various other posts and Anti semitism wasn't mentioned .

Why don't you reply to the posts that didn't mention Anti semitism ?

SM did suggest that wiping our two terrorist organisations . Hamas and Hezbollah and severely weakening Iran's military wasnt beneficial.

So you're interested in having a say but not to be challenged on your say if other members disagree. Sounds like the recent Oxford Uni debate on Israel. You should note that if a member wants to make a point of discussing what his religion is and how many friends he has of the same religion, he then invites others to point out a few facts. Something it sounds like you also disagree with.

Anything to add on the actual topic?

Israel’s Bold Action Against Syria’s Chemical Arsenal Benefits the World

They have also virtually destroyed the Syrian Air Defence Missile installations, and shattered their air force.

In an unrelated development, half a dozen Druze Arab villages on the Syrian part of the Golan Heights have voted to ask Israel to annex them rather than take their chances with the likely Islamic regime in Syria. I don't expect Israel will annex the territory, ( golly, could you imagine the frothing at various mouths of they did!) but they may well welcome the people.

Finally after years and years Israel has done something beneficial and constructive. Hallelujah, this is a biblical event.

From the day of its formation and declaration of independence in 1948,  Israel has had a "beneficial and constructive" function of the highest order as the homeland  and haven of last resort for the world's Jews.

Here's another "beneficial and constructive effect:

6 Syrian Druze Villages Asking to Be Annexed by Israel

"During a council meeting of residents of six Druze villages in southern Syria held overnight Friday, it was decided that the jihadist Syrian rebels should be prevented from reaching the Druze area and suggested annexing their villages to the Israeli Golan Heights."

https://www.jewishpress.com/news/israel/druze/6-syrian-druze-villages-asking-to-be-annexed-by-israel/2024/12/13/

The Druze villagers apparently consider Israeli Jews to be a lesser evil compared with Islamists.

Has it blown up any Nuclear installations?

No reliable conformation that I know of.  They might have damaged or destroyed infrastructure related to nuclear facilities, but not the actual installation.  Iran has recovered from the Stuxnet attack and are on a tear with their enrichment program.

Plenty of posts have been removed and warnings issued. Further violations of the community standards will result in account action. It's not like you don't know the rules, it's that you continue to ignore them, and our attempts to warn you nicely.

Agree, not a perfect solution but better than being at the mercy of religious fanatics.

what if ASSAD never gassed his own people, as it is called false flags to invade other countries to go invade them..  remember iraq?   based on a fake report, nothing to do with the real people that planned and payed for 9/11 (CIA)

Israel wipes out bulk of Syria’s strategic weapons stockpiles in airstrikes

The strikes were carried out so that rebel groups linked to al Qaeda and Islamic State — which drove Assad out — would not gain access to the weaponry, Israeli officials said.

“We have no intention of interfering in Syria’s internal affairs, but we clearly intend to do what is necessary to ensure our security,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

What an ignorant post. Israel as a state has only been around for about 70 years. Try getting your head out of the sand. Perhaps the best way is look at the amount of Nobel Prize winners its had since then and what they contributed to the world. I will let you do your own research on that but I can tell you its extensive.
