giddyup Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 How did you get there, self drive, taxi, bus etc? Is it easy to find?

Older threads warn that there is no parking nearby, Most recommend to walk from MRT Lumpini. Short walk. How to get to Bangkok is "up to you" and what you want to pay, Cheap by bus, minibus and changing to public transport in Bangkok (MRT in this case) or take a taxi within Bangkok. 1 1
Popular Post KhunBENQ Posted December 13, 2024 Popular Post Posted December 13, 2024 You ask on the Pattaya forum and not all expats live in Pattaya. So expect some snippy answers. It's on Witthayu rd ("wireless rd") as so many embassies. Mine is north after Ploenchit rd. Will have to visit later in the year and will sure walk from BTS Ploenchit. An ugly architectural monster by the way 1 1 1

How you get there is up to you. When you're there find your way to the embassy. Admittedly BKK can be a bit daunting but use the net and Google maps and you'll get there. Make sure you make an appointment. 1 2
JimHuaHin Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 The "new" Embassy sucks, in my opinion. Not very user friendly if one has mobility issues and it is raining. 1

Will27 Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 I'm hopeless with directions. This map is available on the Embassy website. Most taxi drivers should know where it is. I just gave mine the copy and it was a piece of cake. 1

gargamon Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Bus to airport. Train to closest BTS station to embassy. Bolt to embassy if needed. Least stressful way to get to anywhere in Bangkok from Pattaya. 1
carlyai Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 I caught the train to the nearest station then walked after flying down from Isaan. Maybe the easiest round trip way from Pattaya would be to hire a Taxi or Grab. As someone already said, make an appointment. 1
