You will get better results by searching google. Type in the subject of the thread followed by aseannow.

E.g.- https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=chiang+mai+restaurants+aseannow

you're correct... the built in search function is hardly useful

I use Google advanced search at:

http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

and I enter: aseannow.com/topic into the field labelled: site or domain

play around with the search terms to get the best results

Thank you both - much appreciated. I find that even sadder that I need to use an external search engine to find what I want rather than a search engine within the site itself. Says a lot really.

Thanks again.

to be fair.... providing a great search function is not a simple thing to accomplish.  The top search engines do make it look easy but there is a lot of design and computing resources behind it.

It's really sad is that you're using AN to find, promote, or review a restaurant.

Was considering The Dukes or Billy for Christmas day dinner. Any others I should be thinking about? Thanks.

Hummus is a superb restaurant.   Not fancy, but the food is exceptional.

Wish I could agree, but their hummus is terrible.

Okay, we are on the other side of the earth from the land of hummus, but with a

name like that you'd expect better.

Just a can of garbanzo beans thrown into a blender.

Hardly any garlic or tahini by the taste of it.

If any olive oil it was cheap-cheap oil; mostly corn oil, soybean oil etc. with zero taste or aroma.

I say don't waste your money on the Hummus from Hummus Restaurant.

Ironic, isn't it.

Hummus

Ingredient Quantity
Chickpeas 1 can
Tahini 1/4 cup
Lemon juice 1/4 cup
Garlic 2 cloves
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Salt To taste

Water
