A 27-year-old electrician lost his life, in December 15, while repairing a power outage at a residential property in Chawad Subdistrict, Chawad District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Emergency responders from Siam Nakhon Rescue rushed to the scene after being alerted to the incident. Upon arrival, they found the victim lying unresponsive near the edge of a flooded area, showing no signs of life.

Recognising the risks of further electrocution in the waterlogged environment, rescue personnel carefully pulled the body away to a safe location. Despite their immediate efforts to perform CPR, the electrician was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Chawad Hospital.

The victim, a highly regarded local electrical technician, had been called to the property to address a power failure. Initial reports indicate that he was electrocuted while carrying out the repairs, though the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.

Authorities are now examining the site of the accident to determine the sequence of events as the investigation continues.

A horrible way to go but I suspect although highly regarded, he was not highly qualified.
