All excellent points and observations. Unfortunately there are very very few forums where a simple "discussion" does not evolve into an egofest ..... with confirmation bias the dominant force.
Modern day man is so intent on fighting battles , many without any experience of the subject other than what they read from their "trusted sources ".
Wouldn't it be nice ( and possibly even rewarding) if at least some people would just
let a few different ideas creep with which to ponder ? After all..... we are all anonymous here, so nobody will know if you might actually alter an opinion or two .

Germans produce too expensive , nobody buys a german solar panel that is 3 times more expensive than a comparable chinese one .
This 'bribing' would be a grand deal that was made with the former (outgoing) administration including that Prime Minister and others with links to the conservatives to arrange the entire process to make it seem legit. This plan would have been in place before Thaksin stepped one foot in Thailand (and likely would not have needed a money component). After that, the rest was done according to the deal made... In other words, the deal is too big to fail (too many powerful conservative elements with other links).... If they want to go after Thaksin -- it would have to be something else or the prisons will be full of powerful people.
Such solutions are available in any bar in Bangkok any day of the week. Such simple solutions to complex problems that one is at a loss to understand why world leaders aren't implementing them.
