I get attacked by Thai girls all the time when I walk down Soi 6, they all go and attack my dick often on that street just when I walk minding my own business. It's very dangerous indeed here in Thailand.

impression that Thais like to beat up foreigners for enjoyment

You've highlighted an issue that I was not aware of, the poll is showing 9 yes and 21 no.

This is alarming, now I understand why I get regularly attacked here with hostility and aggression for my comments. I thought there would be 1 or 2, not 9, you started the poll only 14 hours ago.

It must be so sad these 'yes' people living in beautiful Thailand and thinking this.

Don't be too complacent though

I never forget the young Aussie stabbed to death in Isaan 10 or so years ago riding his motorcycle

But Thailand much safer and farang friendly than the Philippines, now they hate foreigners

I think many tourist places hate foreigners,  Indonesia certainly does,  as does Philippines, parts of Cambodia,  Spain, parts of South America,   and many other places.

They are sick and tired of tourists taking over their towns, cafes, shops, beaches etc ...  and the problems they bring.   It's fact ...

Yes, they do.

Not only do they attack but also rape and murder as well...

Koh Tao 2014 is a prime example!

I believe that was Burmese Bob.

Some people suffer from anxiety and paranoia, some people are introverted and struggle to make friends.

Some people don’t get out much and read too much negative news and can not see the bigger picture.

i thought it would be a minority, but they are “louder”.

The Thai's are the happiest, friendliest, most welcoming people I've ever met and worked with.

Yeah right the first time I came to Los I got attacked on my first day at the ATM

Was it a Thai? As it was your first time i doubt you could see / find out the difference between Thai's and people from surrounding countries.

In reality we all want to believe that we're the good guys, and nothing bad will ever happen to us.

With your behavioural  history , I don't see how you could consider yourself to be a "good guy" and any misfortune that happens could indeed be regarded as being karma
