Giving Up Weed
Yeah, that brick weed, which is what most of it was back then, came from Mexico or South America and it had THC as low as 2% and probably as high as around 6%. It was all pretty much garbage. there was a bit of that sinsemilla around, which is Spanish for "without seeds". It was a bit greener and had a bit better smell, maybe slightly higher THC, but by comparison still pretty pedestrian compared to what they grow now. I smoked it for about a year or two as a teenager, then completely quit for 40 years. By the time I rediscovered it last year, everything had changed tremendously. I don't smoke it, but people don't even need to roll their own joints anymore. They sell rolling papers already in the shape of a cone with a filter at the end and all you need to do is pour some weed down the tube and you got yourself a perfect joint. -

Saying they weren't kind when you think they should be is just saying they're unkind. Enough with trying to split a hair. I'm not "showing" all this meaning that's so important for you and that you need reciprocated--though even I did, I wouldn't care (odd to you, yes). What I'm showing is merely a little kindness, and I feel good when I do so. I don't overthink it, actually. And for the 4th? time, I don't expect them too. They don't have a Christmas giving tradition and don't give gifts to acquaintances unless there's a self-interested motive--which I don't need. Not the culture, period. On the other had, I've been the recipient of countless spontaneous, unsolicited acts of kindness from Thais over the years. Pay it forward. Are you done yet? As noted, it's too "odd" for you. But whenever I ask a poster that, he has to make sure that he's not done. -

Requirements For Obtaining And Renewing A 2 Year Driving Licence
I'm referring to getting an appointment for a renewal of a 2 year licence, to get given another 2 years again as they won't give me a 5 year on a DTV. I got the 14 day wait by turning up on the 1st day, then booking an appointment. The one given to me was 14 days later. -

Who Is Controlling the Budget Bill? Trump, Johnson, or Musk?
Who? Obviously President-Unelect Musk. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess one thing Musk and DOGE will not cut is carbon credits on things like.....oh....electric vehicles. With a $7500 rebate per Tesla sold, the stock price of Tesla clearly benefits from carbon credits. The US/DOGE might even shut down NASA and turn it over to Space-X, and make Space-X the only partner of Space Force. I'm also going to guess the US once again pulls out of global climate accords, but retains carbon credits on electric vehicles. President Musk will insist, and he will pull the strings of the bloated puppet sitting behind the Resolute Desk.
