The Profitable Global Climate Change Hoax/Con/Lie

Plain and Simple > There Is No Climate Emergency!

The whole green-washing thing is a gigantic hoax, and billions are being made on manipulation of those that go along with that narrative. 

But don't take it from me, but listen to Nobel Prize winner Dr. John F. CLAUSER

Clauser, winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on quantum mechanics, has decided to sign the World Climate Declaration of Clintel with its central message “there is no climate emergency”. Clauser is the second Nobel Laureate to sign the  declaration, Dr. Ivar Giaever was the first. The number of scientists and experts signing the World Climate Declaration is growing rapidly and now approaching 1600 people.

Clauser has publicly distanced himself from climate alarmism and this year he also joined the Board of Directors of the CO­₂ Coalition. In the announcement by the CO₂ Coalition, Clauser was quoted in the following way:

“The popular narrative about climate change reflects a dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people. Misguided climate science has metastasized into massive shock-journalistic pseudoscience. In turn, the pseudoscience has become a scapegoat for a wide variety of other unrelated ills. It has been promoted and extended by similarly misguided business marketing agents, politicians, journalists, government agencies, and environmentalists. In my opinion, there is no real climate crisis. There is, however, a very real problem with providing a decent standard of living to the world’s large population and an associated energy crisis. The latter is being unnecessarily exacerbated by what, in my opinion, is incorrect climate science.”

In July Clauser gave a talk at the event Quantum Korea 2023. He warned the audience about the growing amount of pseudoscience and misinformation.

“Now I am not alone in observing the dangerous proliferation of pseudoscience. Recently, The Nobel Foundation has formed a new panel to address the issue called the International Panel on Information Environment. They plan to model it after the UN’s International Panel on Climate Change, the IPCC.
I think personally that they are making a big mistake in that effort because in my opinion the IPCC is one of the worst sources of dangerous misinformation. What I’m about to recommend is in furtherance of that, of the aims of that panel. […]

I have a second elephant in the room that I have recently discovered regarding climate change. I believe that climate change is not a crisis. […]

Beware. If you’re doing good science, it may lead you into politically incorrect areas. If you’re a good scientist, you will follow them. I have several I won’t have time to discuss, but I can confidently say there is no real climate crisis and that climate change does not cause extreme weather events.”

Yes, the whole thing is nothing but a gigantic hoax. In the same way that the western world was convinced Jesus Christ died for "our" sins and rose from the dead some two thousand years ago, they are now convinced that mankind has doomed the earth to a fiery end because of carbon emissions. 

 

Both doctrines, or dogma, if you prefer, require one essential ingredient to persist. That ingredient is faith.

 

Faith allows one to believe in anything one chooses to believe in. Faith doesn't require truth or evidence. Faith ignores cognitive dissonance.

 

Climate is now a religion. It has replaced God as Nietzsche foretold. The priests, pastors, vicars and oracles of Christianity have been replaced by climate pundits such as Greta  et al. The money that once flowed to the various religious organisations now flows to the WEF, WHO, and any other number of organisations that support and advocate the doctrine. They are all of-course corrupt, as were the Churches.

 

Climate has replaced God in the hearts of the minions. Mankind need something to believe in, something to give them hope for the future. It really doesn't matter how outrageous their beliefs are - JC rising from the dead and offers us an eternal life in heaven, (or an eternity in Hell - go figure), or a gas that is 0.04% of the atmosphere will determine our heaven or hell on earth.

 

You can't argue using truth, logic, and undeniable empirical evidence against a person of faith. Regardless of everything else, they will drink the Kool Aid.

 

And while the "idea" of a God is, morally speaking, a reasonable MO to conduct one's life, fanatical belief in any form of God doesn't usually bode well. I compare the current fanaticism of the climate warriors with that of the Inquisition - faith, fanaticism, narcissism, all rolled into one.

 

It' not until one's "faith" has a severe hole punched into it that questions will be asked. This will happen when climate policies result in blackouts and famine, the inability to travel, or God forbid, a severe shortage of smartphones and a reversion to dial-up due to insufficient electrickery to power the cell sites.

Insurance companies believe in climate change, which is why property insurance premiums are going through the roof in vulnerable areas, or insurance is simply unobtainable.

 

Global warming and climate change are the inexorable laws of thermodynamics in operation. Denialists on this thread remind me of King Canute telling the tide to go back.

 

Pro tip: Don't buy property on the Florida coastline, or in Bangkok.

“Climate change is a geological fact. What is causing the change for the past century is a different issue.  Humans are contributing to the recent climate change, but there has also been natural climate variability/change,” Curry said.

But, as we said, that view is out of step with most other climate scientists, who have found that the temperature increases cannot be explained by natural climate fluctuations.

So, the meme is wrong about Curry’s position on the issue, and wrong in its implication that climate change isn’t happening, and the media is covering it up.

a/ mankind does need hope to carry on. Given the terrible lives many if not most of humanity live it's a wonder that they carry on. God, climate change, celebrity opinions, wars etc are all good distractions from s****y lives and allow people to hope. It's interesting though, that only people in wealthy nations seem fooled by the man made climate change illusion

 

b/ The Christ did not say that hell existed. He merely said that certain people ( mainly the rich ) would not easily be able to enter heaven.

Do try and get your scorn for religion correct. Hell is a human invention that the men in funny hats use to control the sheeple.

It's a brave person to declare that something that MIGHT happen will never happen. Nature has a habit of exterminating species unexpectedly.

Tell the dinosaurs that there was no possibility a dirty great rock would fall on the planet and kill them all ( except, apparently, some bird species ).

 

I'm more comfortable saying that Man Made Climate Change is a gigantic hoax, designed to part large amounts of treasure from the peasants and give it to the 1%. In return we peasants get Chinese style surveillance and control.

Thanks @Will B Good.  An intelligent post, and a good contribution to start a discussion. 

My view on this is in line with Judith Curry, that the impact of human activities contributing to climate change is very small compared with natural climate fluctuations. In course of coming days - don't want to overload the thread - I will post articles/studies underpinning that view.

I believed him ( I also believed that marriage was a good idea, so that makes me stupid ), till I saw the movie The Great Global Warming Swindle in 2007. I no longer believe him ( or think that marriage is a good idea ).

I doubt even the most staunch climate change skeptics would deny sea levels have risen since measurements began (circa 1880s).

 

The arguments will as to the cause(s) and if the current (pun?) rates will increase, be maintained or even reversed.

 

At around 3mm/year and at his age, I doubt Obama will be panicking.

The media, in general, publish what their customers consume.

And there are obviously trends, like the climate crisis or catastrophe and all that.

Most people are stupid. They want easy explanations and solutions to complex problems. Like climate reduced to CO2. If only that CO2 level would be fine, then all would be fine. No! It's not easy like that.

 

But it's not only climate. I.e. it's interesting what western media report i.e. about Thailand. They only publish what fits into their agenda. Someone in Thailand did something stupid. Or a tourist was scammed or hurt. They could report 1000 other things, they could even report good things about Thailand. But they don't do that, it would disturb their reader to suddenly read something good about Thailand.

 

Getting back to above. Now there is huge funding for anything climate related - as long as the scientists follow the agenda. There is no funding for scientists who are skeptical. And every media outlet has their climate experts - repeating the same things again and again. And obviously they are not interested in anything else.

 

Personally, I just ignore most of the news. And it seems I don't miss much.
