Why is it that the far right nutters are obsessed with weapons e.g. the MAGA mob in US?

Also who could forget the cuddly yellow shirts led by Suthep and his armed thugs who terrorised Bangkok in 2014.

When they (yellow shirts) were finally removed from Lupini Park they left behind, apart from their filth, a cache of weapons including small arms, M79 grenade launchers and sniper rifles.

Far right politics seems synonymous with anger and hatred.

Was it yellow shirts in Lumpini? I thought it was the red shirts, who are more of a grass roots movement for equality movement than the maintenance of privilege orientated yellow shirts.

I don't recall the cache of weapons and if there had been, bearing in mind the Army shot a number of people, one would always want proof that these weapons weren't planted to justify that.

Why is it people try to connect Trump to almost anything.

To bring back a word that became quite popular on here by the brigade.

Just weird.

We know, but we're not allowed to speak of a syndrome on here anymore.

Was it not the red shirts who burned down the then World Trade Center because WTC never paid the protection money that Gaysorn paid?

Could have been, I'm not on anybody's side and doubt that either side is whiter than white. I was just correcting our red forever friend as he was disparaging the side probably most ideologically in tune with him.

Do they call them ’Arsenal’?

Because you think the Nazis started off with military weapons.

They did not, they started out as criminal thugs and worked their way up through beatings, vandalism, arson, murder and eventually war crimes and genocide.

It starts with race/minority hatred and thuggery.

The rise of Nazism according to Chomper.

It started with the terms of the Armistice and the Wiemar Republic.

I suggest you educate yourself beyond the 'as seen on TV' version if you are going to comment. There are some French made documentaries on youtube which seem to try and describe what happened in fairly neutral terms.

Who are these uniformed jackbooted street thugs?

It was definitely the yellow shirts in Lumpini Park in 2014.

You may be thinking of the red shirt protests of (I think) 2010 during which the army and others went on a murder spree mowing down red shirts sheltering in a temple.

   Trump is not "far right"

Anyway, that's enough about Trump

Back to the story

You brought the word Trump up.

It seems you’re obsessed with him.

Looks like the collection stacked under the front seat of many pick up trucks!

Not entirely sure that ten years is, umh, justified, in view of the sentences handed down ( or not as the case may be) in other crimes.

Manchester Airport for some reason springs to mind...

I did think that too, i.e. is he a minicab driver?

Funnily enough, I drove a cab for a while, ( I was caring for my mother with dementia and it was a job with the complete flexibility of hours which that demanded).  A motorcycle policeman stopped me for a "licencing check" (they used to hassle us when they were bored). He asked me where my torch was, he looked at it,"Ever Ready" supermarket checkout special, and said "nah, you want one of these mate" and produced a steel 6 cell maglite! It would in all honesty have come in handy a couple of times!

I reiterate my support for prevention on attacks on LGBT people, but i think they are putting 2+2 together to try and get a desired Neo Nazi 5.

Alan Edward is described as a neo-Nazi due to his active promotion of neo-Nazi ideologies and associations with far-right extremist groups. He openly expressed beliefs in white supremacy, racism, antisemitism, and homophobia. His online activities included sharing content that denied the Holocaust and glorified Adolf Hitler. Additionally, Edward praised Anders Breivik, the Norwegian mass murderer, referring to him as “Saint Anders” in documents found on his computer.

Edward’s involvement with extremist groups is further evidenced by his promotion of National Action, a banned far-right neo-Nazi organization in the UK. He posted videos of their rallies and invited others to support this proscribed group.

Beyond his online activities, Edward amassed a significant cache of weapons at his home, including a crossbow, knives with Nazi insignia, machetes, and a samurai sword. He discussed plans to attack an LGBT group, stating in messages that “they will pay in blood” and suggesting, “We should get masked up and go do a few of them in at their little gay club.”

It's a shame they can't be so thorough and motivated for potential attacks from the cultural enrichers.

But i guess that would be racist or [chooseaword]phobic.
