Not quite, it all stalled after Hamas refused to negotiate and then Biden told them to leave Qatar.

 

The talks only really kicked off again in Dec.

That would depend on how old those children were really and what their roles were, we know that quite a few of those so called children were released in the last prisoner and hostage swap back in November last year. Here is an example of Hamas children in a child terrorist training camp in Gaza.

What's going to drop in his lap? Hamas broke the last hostage and ceasefire deal in Nov last year, its not going to be easy, hence if the negotiations fail then refer to the headlines
