No. In what  deluded world would a sovereign nation of 40 million and 9th largest GDP in the world  become a state when there are states with a fraction of its population  (Montana - 1 million, Vermont 650,000) Why would Canada  accept equality with those states?

 

Trump Jr. is about to ignite the  fires of Canadian nationalism. The USA will regret the consequences. Might be the best thing to happen to Canada though. It is time it  reduced its ties to the USA, maybe even consider a new arrangement with Russia and China. 😗

I bet the Western Provinces would be happy to apply for individual statehood. After all, Canada is not much of anyhting without the USA. Thats why they are continually running whimpering and begging commercials at a million a pop all over Fox News.
