Can you recommend me a cheap car insurance ?
We Roojai to be the cheapest. Also provided excellent service when having an oops. No argument about where the work to be done (MG dealer) or and aspect of it not being covered. Every ins co. & broker of ins (even our cousin) wanted 20k+, and Roojai was 13.4k, renewal, without any no claim discount, since having an oops previous year. This for MG ZS EV, which insurance for EVs are silly priced, now. The first year of coverage on the BEV, that we paid, was the same as the last year of coverage we paid on the same car, 2 yrs prior, but ICEV. So much for any pricing logic. -

3 ways to make TV/AN a more pleasant and more useful experience
Even back then I had friends complaining about how bad it was and that they don't bother to post anymore. Take off your rose coloured nostalgic glasses. The world is full of idiots and this forum is just a way for them to show us. -

New tablet for 2k THB. Fake specifications?
My experience of cheap tablets. I bought 2 for the grand children. They worked just fine for 4 months, Then the trouble started, but the main issue was the battery woukd no longer hold charge, and there was nowhere to get a replacement. This happened to both within a week of each other. Result: binned ! Stay with mainstream items that can be worked on and parts easily and readily available. As my Old man used to say "buy cheap buy twice" -

Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) between Thailand and Australia
I'm in the same boat. AFAIK the private pensions like super are not covered by the DTA and are taxable...at least this was my impression after reading the DTA. Departing next month to spend 7 months in Oz then 2 months in Europe, this will prevent me being tax resident in Thailand in 2025. Planning to spend less than 180 days per year for forseeable future. -

Former Thai PM Yingluck Faces Prison Return Amid New Detention Rules
If I were naivé I might think that someone wants to try to unify the populace. Rather, these are the shiftings and ups and downs of the balances of power. -
