Upnotover Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Normally it's 30 or 45 days only, depending on which office.

Most times ur allowed to do extension's with 30 days UNLESS u have a flight out or emergency , than its 45
DrJack54 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 OP, at Phuket immigration office you can obtain your extension up to 45 days prior to expiry of your permission of stay stamp. The 800k will need to have been in your Thai bank for minimum 2 months. Also be aware of the financial requirements for the following months after you obtain the extension. Here is a thread and I posted links to other threads Phuket specific to check what docs you need. https://aseannow.com/topic/1345316-retirement-extension-phuket/ 1
black tabby12345 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 When I did it in Chiang Mai in 2012, it was in the 2nd month during 3month non-o validity period. 1

That's because CM, along with CW, Phuket allow application for extension up to 45 days prior to expiry of current permission of stay. The application must be made with minimum of 15 days remaining. Some offices CM and Phuket require 21 days minimum.

Once retirement O is granted, subsequent extension rule is the same in CNX as well: Able to apply for its renewal 45 days before its expiry date. 1
