Zircon parallel batteries
Greetings, My Zircon AX-1000 UPS with standard 12V 7.8Ah battery expanded with the same type of battery. After a short time the entire battery function stops and does not recover when the second battery is removed. A previous Zircon 'Smooth-D' that I had did not cause any problems. A third Zircon UPS I apparently also messed up by connecting batteries in parallel. Now I don't have much use for it other than possibly a surge protector. Zircon in this country indicates that they want to check/repair it and that I can send the UPS. But then the UPS is repaired by default and I have the same situation again, with an empty space in my wallet. Does anyone have experience with the situation as described? There is certainly a solution, but in this country it is a lot more difficult due to language problems. Thanks in advance -

Many couldn't sell then, and still can't sell now. Where's the money in that theoretical profit? You just said it was difficult not to make money at The Base. Now you say many got "stung." As I will. It's just that you constantly talk up the market to the point it becomes very clear you are only do so because you are financially exposed. Which is exactly what happened in many condo buildings. Many owners sold up and moved out, putting downward pressure on the properties in that building. Just the way the Chinese like it. -

Leicester City's Thai Owners Seek £2.15B from Helicopter Makers Over 2018 Crash
I don't know what the politics and protocols are regarding AAIB's recommendations especially when it comes to a foreign manufacturer, But one thing I do know is that: ''there should be no implication of ‘blame and liability’ toward those to whom Safety Recommendations are addressed''. So I guess they have to play a bit of a political balancing act. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/what-is-a-safety-recommendation/what-is-a-safety-recommendation -

Revenue Department boss calls on tax residents in Thailand to file 2024 returns by March 31
A very good point which I've thought of myseld. We do know that rule was changed which can be called a loophole as wide as the Holland Tunnel. We also know certainly that a significant percentage of foreigners did remit accessible income the same year so technically that should have been filed and tax paid if due. As far as the number of expats audited just over investigating this matter? I would guess ZERO. So in practical reality that was a SUPER LOOPHOLE which most expats didn't even know about and if they did could be confident it didn't matter anyway. As I've said before, we DO know this rule has changed. But we don't know what that will mean as far as audits and investigations. Time will tell. Not sure if that means a lot of time or a little. -
