YOu missed my point about Poilievre. Namely, that he isn't exactly blowing kisses in Trump's directions. Maybe you believe that Trump's comments shouldn't be grounds for Canadian's negativity, but Canadians overwhelmingly disagree with you: Nearly 70% of Canadians think less of U.S. due to Trump tariffs: Ipsos A new poll by Ipsos for Global News found a whopping 68 per cent of Canadians surveyed think less of the United States as a country, after Trump threatened Canada’s economy with 25 per cent tariffs that were meant to go into effect this week, before being paused. Nearly half of all respondents, 46 per cent, said they strongly held that negative perception. “What surprised me is the intensity of the responses,” said Sean Simpson, senior vice president of Ipsos Public Affairs. https://globalnews.ca/news/11006887/donald-trump-tariffs-canadians-us-opinion-poll/ -

Polievre? Of course, he is my choice for next PM. And he is making sense. Has been for years. You need to do a bit more reading if you think he in any way supports what Trudeau has been doing to our country. And no, Trump's typical rants are not grounds for hatred. They are just Trump being Trump. Learn to separate the noise from the message. Most smart economists recognize that fact. Our media is the same- have to separate the noise from the message. The noise is "oh noes, here comes the Bad Orange Man to take over our country!!" and the message is "vote Liberal". -

Can Elon Musk rule the world ?
It seems the left's irrational hivemind hatred for EM might actually stop the loony tunes rush to force us all to drive 3 ton behemoth exploding cars made from hazardous stuff mined by children in the Congo. Well fair play to that. -

In France, Tesla sales were down 63 per cent in January, while registrations of Tesla cars in Norway fell 38 per cent. In the UK, registrations declined 8 per cent from a year earlier. https://archive.ph/JtM7R#selection-2419.0-2427.168 Tesla’s China sales drop 11.5% as BYD soars 47% Tesla’s sales in China decreased by 11.5% year-on-year in January 2025, selling 63,238 units compared to 71,447 in January 2024. This decline occurs amid increasing market competition as domestic manufacturers gain market share. In contrast, Chinese EV manufacturer BYD reported a 47% increase in sales, delivering 296,446 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. https://www.techinasia.com/news/teslas-china-sales-drop-11-5-as-byd-soars-47 Tesla Sales Take First Full-Year Fall; Musk’s Politics Catch Some Blame While EV sales growth has slowed down this past year, demand was still up by about 10% in 2024. And the numbers would have been even bigger were it not for Tesla. While still the market leader, it suffered a first-ever annual sales decline last year. A variety of factors were at play, including CEO Elon Musk’s increasingly polarizing politics. https://headlight.news/2025/01/02/tesla-sales-take-first-full-year-fall-musks-politics-catch-some-blame/- 1
