A incident occurred when a motorcyclist riding against traffic was struck and thrown under a car on Highway 304 in Prachinburi Province, leading to his death after being dragged approximately 40 metres..

 

At around 19:00 on January 16, rescue workers from the Sajja Phutthatham Kabinburi Foundation received a report of a traffic collision involving a motorcyclist trapped under a car on the Nong Khla Bridge in Lat Takhian Subdistrict, Kabin Buri District. Emergency responders rushed to the scene.

 

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a Yamaha motorcycle with Nakhon Nayok license plates lying on the road after a collision. The other vehicle involved was a bronze Nissan car with Bangkok license plates. The motorcyclist, a male, was found lifeless under the car, his body severely mangled and dragged approximately 40 meters from the initial collision site. Rescue workers used specialised tools to lift the car and recover the body.

 

Ms. Kasama the car driver, tearfully explained that she had been driving on Highway 304 toward Kabin Buri when the crash occurred. “It happened in a flash. I couldn’t see anything,” she said in distress.

 

Ms. Jib an eyewitness, provided additional details. She stated that she saw the car traveling normally in front of her when it collided with a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was thrown into the path of the car and became trapped underneath. Ms. Jib used her hazard lights to signal the car driver and overtook the car, prompting the driver to stop by the roadside. Upon inspection, they discovered the motorcyclist’s body under the vehicle.

 

Initial reports suggest that the motorcyclist was riding against traffic when the crash occurred. Police at the scene are investigating the exact cause of the collision and working to identify the deceased and notify the family.
