Picture from responders. A 31-year-old man was fatally shot at a self-service petrol station in Wang Nam Khiao, Tha Hin Ngom Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chaiyaphum Province. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. At approximately 14.20, local police received a report of a shooting at a coin-operated petrol station in the area. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the lifeless body of a man, later identified as Mr Kittiwetch, a resident of Moo 7, Tha Hin Ngom Subdistrict. The victim had sustained fatal gunshot wounds, though the exact number of shots fired has not yet been confirmed. The area was cordoned off as forensic teams gathered evidence and examined the scene. Initial reports indicate that there were no immediate witnesses, and police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from nearby locations to determine the sequence of events leading up to the shooting. Authorities have not yet released any details regarding the motive behind the attack, and it remains unclear whether the shooting was a result of personal conflict, a robbery, or other criminal activity. Police are conducting interviews with the victim’s family and acquaintances to uncover any possible leads.
