C'mon man. Here's why egg prices are up and you can't blame Trump for it. Biden was in charge in 2022.

Egg prices increased more than 8% from November to December, according to the Consumer Price Index, and the average cost of one dozen Grade A large eggs in December across the U.S. was $4.15—up from $2.52 at the start of 2024.

Experts say the increases will likely continue as long as outbreaks of the highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), which began in 2022 and brought record-high egg prices—reaching an average of $4.82 per dozen in January 2023—persist.

Disclaimer: On another thread I was accused of having knowledge of Trump's promise to lower the price of eggs, which I proved to be false.

Now, finally I have seen how ridiculous this whole flap about egg prices is.  Today, while grocery shopping,  I saw prices for a dozen of eggs vary from $4 all the way up to $10.39.  Other than the cheapest eggs being an advertised special (loss leader) how do you explain the wide variation in prices?

In case you are confused, Trump hasn't been in charge for more than a few days. He can't do everything instantaneously. Being POTUS doesn't give him supernatural powers.

Especially when the lefties are sabotaging his every move.  They don't care how much they have to damage the country and average Americans to get back into the WH.  And the Senate.  And the House.
