Trump keen to blame diversity and inclusion for Washington DC crash

So, Trump blamed the crash on DEI hiring.  From Fox News, here is the helicopter pilot: (Andrew Eaves from Mississippi)

And here is the airplane pilot: (Sam Lilley from Georgia)

Are these two are DEI hires?

Trump is the first disabled pensioner with Propecia to be elected to the Whitehouse, which makes him a sort of DEI hire. No doubt he picked up a few sympathy votes due to a scabby right ear.

Trump has a physical disability, deformed feet, that precluded him from military service. So him and FDR both had physical disabilities, but FDR wasn't of pensionable age.

Makes you wonder who originated these fabrications:

The consensus seems to be the ATC was understaffed.

As usual. Trump is very long on detail of who is to blame, and very short on saying how he is going to fix it.

America is probably the busiest country in the world as far as domestic air travel goes, I can't see how gettiing rid of so-called diversity hires in ATC is going to help air safety.

And maybe some people didn't have their minds on the job after getting this email:

The only diversity hires, if any, among ATC, will be transgenders, minorities and disabled veterans. All are required t pass strict medical tests. All are supposed to report changes in health. All have annual exams. All have to be approved by the Flight Surgeon.

As  said before, if he really believes that the ATCs are mostly halfwits, why isn't he using his Presidential power to order an immediate grounding of flights in the US, until all 500 ATCs undergo rigourous healthchecks?

The Governor of Michigan says this. We are going to have 4 years of foot-in-mouth from this President.

Gosh.  Are you talking about the same FAA that's been absolutely pilloried the past few years for its negligent oversight of Boeing that caused 2 737 Max aircraft to crash, and the door to blow off an Alaska Airlines 737?  That FAA?

Maybe you should listen to this from Michael Pierson, a former ATC:

Former air traffic controller Michael Pearson said on “The Ingraham Angle” that the short staffing was “attributable to the Obama administration.”

“The system has been under attack due to DEI and the FAA bowing to wokeness since 2010, since the Obama administration,” Pearson said. “The lack of staffing is directly attributable to the Obama administration terminating the lists of eligible, well-trained air traffic control statements in 36 universities across the country in 2013 because they were too white.”

Simultaneously, the FAA rolled out an immunity program which, Pearson said, has fundamentally altered the handling of operational errors.  “The FAA also, at the same time, implemented an immunity program. So you think you’re seeing legitimate statistics? You’re not. In the old days, before 2010, the immunity program, if an air traffic controller got two airplanes too close, too many times, it would be decertified and retrained,” Pearson said. “Now, they’re not. “The FAA cannot retrain these people. If somebody has a repetitive instance of malfeasance or lack of competency, the FAA, because of this immunity program, cannot rectify the situation. They have to basically allow the person to remain in the same position,”

Perhaps Trump knows some stuff we don't?

I'll let you find the interview on Fox's Ingraham Angle...

I think we all know how this will play out.

Trump says DEI played a role in this tragedy.

The left throw a hissy fit and meltdown.

Lefty "fact checkers" get to work claiming it's all lies.

Slowly more info comes to light showing that DEI DID play a role.

The left say its old news and move on to the next (false) or manufactured outrage so no more discussion.

Every. Single. Time.
