Mobile internet services in Moscow were significantly disrupted on Monday, just as military aircraft flew over the city in rehearsal for the upcoming Victory Day parade. According to HotNews.ro, Russian authorities warned citizens that similar outages could continue throughout the week due to heightened security measures.

The disruptions, affecting Russia’s largest telecom providers and other online services, coincided with early morning flyovers conducted in preparation for the May 9 celebrations—a politically important holiday marking the Soviet Union’s defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.

Putin will be recognized as the Hitler and the Russian people will be recognized as standing by & doing absolutely nothing as they watched him wreak havoc on the world - under their name (The Russians did it). They will not be trusted anywhere on this planet for decades. They cannot wash their hands of his destroying, maiming, raping & killing a million innocent men, women, children & elderly on both sides as well as leaving them homeless. The Russian people are as guilty as Putin and it will take decades for them to cleanse the world of the Russian Stereotype they are creating by standing by & doing absolutely nothing to fix it. Compare that to the American people who (against all odds) stood up to our government to bring an end to an un-justified Viet Nam war.

Are the Russians tired of all that winning?

Do you know why the Chinese leader came to Moscow? He came to show support for the results of World War II. If you are against the results of World War II, then you are for World War III - during which people in military uniforms will most likely knock on your door.

Now it is far time to remember who owns Ukraine as the result of World War II. Z guys enjoy reminding it every 9th of May.

I get it. You're pushing Putin propaganda here. You have that right but it's all lies.

I am for fun here. For this I want to see convinced opponents of Putin here. Otherwise I will be bored. If I want to see supporters of Putin I go to RT.

You are either for the results of the Second World War or against. It's really that simple. I'm not trying to persuade you to give any answer and I'm not advocating any of the decisions. Although you know that as a Z guy I'm for the results of the Second World War.

What  your dictator hero Putin has done is to rewrite history of WW2 to dishonestly link it to his genocidal war of choice on Ukraine.

I'll give you a little hint here. Although Ukraine belongs to the USSR as a result of World War II, and Russia in the UN is the USSR with a different name, officially Russia and the Russian Foreign Ministry recognize Ukraine as an independent state - so there is no contradiction with the results of World War II.

Putin's clear goal is to completely erase Ukraine as a sovereign nation.

Sure.
But there are Putin's dreams and there is a balance of power. Russia lost the Cold War. This loss has not been cancelled and it still works perfectly on the US side, preventing Putin from realizing his dreams in Ukraine. Although I am sure that you have not been told how Russia's loss in the Cold War works.

If the US exits and Europe fails to unite with enough help quickly enough, Ukraine remains at risk for total control by Russia.

In addition to the military means of influencing the situation, the United States has what I call the rudder pedals obtained as a trophy of victory in the Cold War.

Since 1991, all Russian big business has been under the jurisdiction of Western countries. Therefore, at any moment, you can squeeze the balls of Russian oligarchs with the help of sanctions and let them go only if they get certain actions from Putin. Lately, a lot has been written about the fact that certain sanctions are being introduced or lifted.

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/04/03/trump-treasury-sanctions-putin-russia-rotenberg-ukraine.html

How does it work? In 2022, Putin slowly encircled Kyiv. Then the Russian oligarchs experienced a lot of problems due to sanctions. Then the oligarch Obramovich organized a meeting in a NATO country after which Putin quickly retreated thousands of kilometers.

Crazy conspiracy theory. I'm so not surprised.

A good way to cover up the fact that Putin failed to take Kiev. Period.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

I didn't know that the fact that sanctions are working is a conspiracy theory justifying Putin. Thanks for explaining.

Everyone here claiming there isn't any corruption in Ukraine

A very bold claim, especially since I don't even remember the subject of corruption ever coming up on this thread all the time I've been following it.

Besides, Russia fares a lot worse in the Premier League of corruption tables...

Maybe it was just an attempt to change the subject?

Today is potentially the day we see Putin on live TV screaming like a girl and running for cover.

What a sight to behold that would be.
