I recall seeing "no Israeli" signs in a few restaurants on Koh Tao like 20+yrs ago...couldn't imagine what inspired that sentiment .....😁

Could be that they would group up and fight back against the local mafia families ?

Rather than being picked off one by one ?

Mate, so instead of debating, on an intelligent level, you resort to insults.. ok, I accept you might not have the intelligence to debate, I wish you a good life.

IDF wouldn't enter a hospital because they have nothing else to do. Intelligence told them Hamas terrorists hiding there, along with schools and other civilian places.  Most wear civilian clothes too and they don't care about their own people, just use them as shields.

   That isn't true .

Israel had received info that a terror attack against Israelis was planned and Full moon party was the possible location . It wasn't based on the cleric in the U.A.E

You do seem to take a lot of interest in Israel ,

Yes , I call out BS anywhere I see it and Netanyahus government keeps me busy !  Just look at the BS you repeat. "Israel had received info that a terror attack AGAINST ISRAELIS was planned  and a full moon party was the possible location.

For starters , Phuket does NOT  have Full Moon Parties !  So BS  full on there.

And how did these fictional terrorists plan to single out the Israelis ? Ask each raver their nationality ? LOL

And , btw ,  is this  the Israel  that was incapable of predicting its own attack and is still open for tourism while  constantly under at war  ?

In short , what  evidence was there for any of that BS 'warning'..oh I know   its a 'secret'. Theres never any evidence.  These Much Ado warnings are put out to keep the world thinking , "poor Israel and its sufferring ..." while it constantly ignores international law and theives land.

ALSO ,  may I ask whats the meaning of your last sentence ??

It sounds like something a Nazi informer would say ...am I to read it as  a feeble attempt  to intimidate ?  5555

You did say "Thailand, including Phuket"

And I was referring to the warnings about the Full moon party on KPG as I remember those , I don't recall any warnings about Phuket

This seems like nonsense and speculation to me. Can we have an adult discussion without your continued name calling antics?

They don't care about their own people, but they are willing to die on behalf of them. Let's stop all of this one side is good and one side is bad nonsense.

Israel also takes notice if where rockets from Gaza are fired from and Israel returns the fire to  the Hamas rocket launchers .

The Israeli rockets fired at the Hamas rocket launch locations aren't going to stop and turn back just because the Hamas rocket was launched for a Gaza school

Do you know something, not in the story... I cannot find anything close to saying they "wrecked a hospital" or "threatening staff," does say "causing disturbances," and that's all. So, please, if you have more info, tell us.

In ancient Greece, the region of Palestine was called Palaistine. This name first appeared in the 5th century BCE in the writings of Herodotus.

Explanation
Palaistine referred to the territory previously held by Philistia, a state that existed from the 12th to the 7th century BCE. The Philistines occupied a small area on the southern coast of what is now Israel, between Tel Aviv–Yafo and Gaza.

Herodotus used the term Palaistine to refer to a wider region than biblical Philistia. He applied it to both the coastal and inland regions, including the Judean Mountains and the Jordan Rift Valley.

The Romans revived the name Palestine in the 2nd century CE in “Syria Palaestina”. During the Byzantine era, the name was used for the provinces of Palaestina Prima, Palaestina Secunda, and Palaestina Salutaris.

There had never been an independent kingdom, nation or state called Palestine before the PLO declared the creation of the State of Palestine in 1988.  Arabs living in Mandatory Palestine had been offered a state under the 1947 U.N. partition plan, but the Arab League rejected the plan.

What Israel took over on  May 14, 1948, was the territory allotted to the Jewish state under the United Nation's partition plan for Mandatory Palestine, which at that time was under British control.   Before the U.K. received the Mandate for Palestine from the League of Nations, the Ottoman Empire had ruled the region we today call historical Palestine since 1516 CE.  Prior to the  Turks, the rulers had been the Mamluk Sultanate; Ayyubid Dynasty; European Crusaders; Fatimid Caliphate; Mongol Empire;  Abbasid Caliphate; Umayyad Caliphate;  Rashidun Caliphate; Byzantine Empire; Roman Empire; Seleucid Empire; Ptolemaic Kingdom; Achaemenid (Persian) Empire; Babylonian Empire and Assyrian Empire.

You have to go back to Biblical times and the Iron Age to find centuries in which people who were actually born in historical Palestine ruled  the region.  That would be the Kingdoms of  Israel  and Judah.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  .

Check out the archeology.

Zionism originated as a political ideology.

The promised thing is used as an antisemitic trope.

I get it you that obviously get excited to demonize Jews and suggest they're a monolith.

@tony2times  You keep repeating the same post, but it is equally irrelevant each time in attempting to prove Palestine was the name of a country, nation or kingdom.  Herodotus used Palestine as a geographical designation for a part of Syria.  His words: "From there they marched against Egypt: and when they were in the part of Syria called Palestine, Psammetichus king of Egypt met them and persuaded them with gifts and prayers to come no further."

Have you recently been in Pai?

Have you seen what's going on there?

They lost control of the village.

A huge number of tourists are lining the pockets of hotel and restaurant owners, who are mostly Thais originally from the south, Bangkok or Chiang Mai, who have very little interest in things going back to normal.

Like the toxic air pollution its all about $$$ but what if the PESTS are scaring off many? I have not got near the place in twenty years and I thought it was bad then.
