How do you generally find the air quality in Vietnam?  Hanoi, Hot An, Ho Chi Min.

I see that Thailand is struggling, example is one of today's AN articles.

I'm sure I could find the raw data online, but wondering about the general feeling on this from people who live in Vietnam.

Visually, the Hoi An / Danang area has very similar pollution to Hua Hin.  Definitely not as bad as Chiang mai, not as clear as Samui or Phuket.

At street level, the pollution smells much worse in Vietnam.  After walking around a city in Vietnam, my clothes smell strongly of exhaust.

There's current news reports making out that Ha Noi is experiencing the worst air quality in the world.

But it's pretty much the same every year due to the weather, it's wet and damp so the air is heavy thus trapping in pollution and causing fog.

No need to call Greta.

I'm currently in Hanoi, and yah it's really bad.  The pollution is noticeable when looking at a building just 50 meters away.  Definitely worse in Hanoi than Danang
