Forced to book a hotel on the spot
Same here, well, mostly. Never a problem for 20 odd years. Then, suddenly, in early 2020, things changed. (My theory is, that, possibly, those female dragons at Arrival in Bangkok have a 'denial quota' they have to meet.) -

Forced to book a hotel on the spot
I was coming into Poipet once and the line was FULL of unwashed dreadlocked backpackers. My back was really hurting bad and since the line was long and slow, I asked an agent for a chair showing him my Long Term Visa in Cambodia, he took me right to the front of the line to stamp me in. Nice guy. Let me also note that if you saw me ordinarily, you would hand me spare change out of pity. However, I know enough about life to understand that CLEAN AND GROOMED makes life easier when dealing with authority. There is a market right next to the border where one can buy things like a clean tshirt, hair ties, etc to make yourself look presentable. -

Historic Drop in Illegal Border Crossings Following Trump’s Crackdown
Did I say this anywhere? No, I don't defend them. But it seems to me the USA depends on a lot of cheap labor. And what is the cheapest labor? Probably illegal immigrants. So, what will happen if those cheap labor is not there anymore? In general, I think laws should be obeyed and enforced. Nobody should enter any country illegally. And criminals should be punished/jailed/deported. -

Pete Hegseth "President Trump will not allow anyone to turn Uncle Sam into Uncle Sucker."
We will see how it goes, and with the new targets for Nato, which I actually welcome, who will be the largest partner for us. The European Union and the United States have the world's largest bilateral trade and investment relationship, and enjoy the most integrated economic relationship in the world. Taking goods, services and investment into account, the EU and the US are each other's largest trading partners by far https://policy.trade.ec.europa.eu/eu-trade-relationships-country-and-region/countries-and-regions/united-states_en
