We all know you hate dogs to some degree but it's a very sick person that intentionally kills them.  I myself have lost many animals in this country to someone who's poisoning them. The police do nothing so it might come to me teaching them a hard lesson when I catch them..............

"The Humane Society of the United States says on its website that a number of studies "in psychology, sociology, and criminology during the last 25 years have demonstrated that violent offenders frequently have childhood and adolescent histories of serious and repeated animal cruelty.

"The FBI has recognized the connection since the 1970s, when its analysis of the lives of serial killers suggested that most had killed or tortured animals as children," according to the society. "Other research has shown consistent patterns of animal cruelty among perpetrators of more common forms of violence, including child abuse, spouse abuse, and elder abuse. In fact, the American Psychiatric Association considers animal cruelty one of the diagnostic criteria of conduct disorder...

An American website called Pet-Abuse.com lists a number of examples of criminals who have hurt or poisoned animals before later in life killing humans, including one young man in Missouri who killed a classmate and admitted he lost count of how many cats he had killed.

"The line separating an animal abuser from someone capable of committing human abuse is much finer than most people care to consider," states the website............."He must have some deep-rooted serious issues to be doing this, to be such a coward to leave something like antifreeze, which is actually sweet to the taste, which is what attracts animals to it," Smith said.

But it's ok to kill other pests like rats, mice and termites, as well as all those millions of cows, pigs, sheep and chickens people like stuffing down their throats. Why are scabby stray mutts awarded such an elevated position in the animal kingdom? they are vermin. The only good soi dog is a dead one.

People have considered dogs as domestic animals for a very long time. Yes, other animals can be raised as pets, but aren't considered pets by the regular population. Some things are just the way they are, accepted. Rats are known disease spreaders and have killed untold thousands in the past. Dogs aren't spreaders of communicable diseases besides rabies, which can easily be controlled if the government cares enough to do so.  They also spread leptospirosis, ringworm  and salmonella but if dogs are cared for, they won't. Humans spread diseases also if not healthy. Termites have  pluses besides being eaten by some animals. They turn rotten trees into fertilizer but when they inhabit house areas they cause problems.Stray dogs are indeed a problem but it is humans fault they over populate. All animals need to be controlled so their populations don't exceed the carrying capacity of their habitat, even humans. Dogs aren't vermin. They help countless people get around, save lives and as pets they bring happiness to millions of people, especially those with mental illnesses.

I wanted to kill all of the dogs involved,

There are ways.

You need to get them used to eating rice and meat from one single pot.

The pot of food must be large enough for all the dogs to have their fill.

Keep the pot replenished for about a month.

And then....

When you have all the roaming dogs eating from the pot religiously.....

Give them your final blessing, in the pot.

In fact, I am just reporting an incident that I witnessed while living in Taiwan.

It happened just as I reported it in my comment.

Where did it happen in Taiwan?

A place called: HuaYuan XinCheng, near HsinTian, Taipei.

The act was perpetrated by a builder/developer who had wanted to rid the area of all roaming dogs, in preparation for building/selling prospect homes in that small area in the mountains.

He was NOT a coward.

He was a heartless real estate speculator and builder.

Humans are the cruelest species on the planet, by far.

No wonder they treat each other in such a cruel fashion.

When I am reborn, let me be reborn a snake, which, I guess, is at least one step above the human being.

Taiwan is a despicable place.

No need to defend Taiwan against takeover by Mainland China.

What would be the point?

Even if you can't stop them roam around, you can at least prevent those beasts from harming yourself and others nearby.

Make & carry a tear gas spray as seen in the video below.

That's what I do.

I think firecrackers might be faster.

Some sort of fireworks on a stick...with an electric triggering mechanism.

Or, just carry a 0.44 Magnum....

A person that takes their anger out on those weaker is a coward, whether it's women, children or dogs. They're afraid to go up against other men so pick lesser opponents. Taiwan is it's own, and China has enough land. Greed because it's a major port and ego because they think they're bigger so they can take it's independence away.

NO.

Actually....NOT.

Please read recent Chinese history.

This is about restoration of land and territory that China views as having been stolen.

image.png.f647a8ce3992dc36b0e6ccb04cdfb8ed.png

This is NOT about greed.

This is a moral imperative to RESTORE China to its rightful glory.

Xi = Mao

Mao = Xi

Both are nutjobs.

But this restoration of lost territories to the Motherland is Xi's promise to the Chinese People.

This also has much to do with nationalism, and not greed.

Many places have been stolen by others for greedy purposes, including Taiwan........Taiwan was inhabited by Taiwanese aboriginals long before European colonization. The island was also ruled by the Qing dynasty of China, the Japanese Empire, and the Republic of China....

Taiwan's history of colonization
  • Dutch: The Dutch East India Company colonized Taiwan in 1624, and ruled until 1662. They encouraged Chinese immigration to farm........ Spanish: The Spanish established a trading base in Taiwan in 1626, and ruled until 1642..........Qing dynasty: The Qing dynasty invaded Taiwan in 1683, and ruled until 1895.......Japanese Empire: Japan acquired Taiwan in 1895 after the first Sino-Japanese War.......Republic of China: The Republic of China took control of Taiwan after Japan surrendered in 1945.........
    Taiwan's indigenous peoples
Evidence suggests that humans have lived in Taiwan for at least 30,000 years. The ancestors of many of the tribal people who still live in Taiwan came to Taiwan around 4,000 to 5,000 years ago....................Passing from one hand to another, taken by one than another for greedy purposes, by force or loss of war. This you would have learned in your America in school.

Hi, I used to carry around a few firecrackers & cigarette lighter(before I employ my current countermeasure).

Smell of their burning fuse alone sometimes scared them away(as they generally hate smoke).

And their hearing is 4 times better than man.

So it was often effective to drive them away.

Stick, doesn't always work; some mean dogs aren't scared away(they keep coming as they avoid its blow).

I hesitated to use firecrackers late at night(disturbing the neighborhood while  the are asleep).

And surprisingly, some dogs, were not awed despite its Big Bang.

Also, have to be careful where to use it; not near any flammables(can cause fire hazard, depending on situation).

If you really like this method, there is something that might serve better.

One piece comes with 13-14 small explosion(like a micro Cluster Bomb).

It is Dragon Egg ไข่มังกร.

image.jpeg.e6c1ff9c2d315c3b08a02c5f30b33d66.jpeg

Good demo video of that kind of firecracker.

I, myself, have used it once for counter dog attack(worked well).

User Discretion strongly advised; better to be used only in a deserted street; won't trigger any traffic accidents...

Dogs really dislike firecrackers.

But, still, small firecrackers don't hurt them.

Maybe best to use some sort of handheld device that makes very loud crackling noises,,, such as a stun-gun.

Don't be an idiot and actually try to stun the dog.

Just press the button from afar, and the dogs will probably retreat.

I LOVE DOGS.

Stun Gun.

It is know for its effect to scare them away.

Looks like they cannot stand for its electrical Crackling Noise.

Once I have tried a portable(racket shaped) Bug Zapper.

image.jpeg.72e1e4e389f84145430bb99878633bdd.jpeg

It really worked. Despite its pretty small noise, they instantly showed fear and run away.

Stun Gun is certainly useful to deter dogs.

But it come with an issue here; cops might seize it and fine you if they see you carry it in public(while some army surplus goods stores stock them).

can you carry a stun gun in thailand in public/ - Google Search

So, if you are looking for the tool to prevent dog attacks in a quite manner, handy Bug Zapper might be a way.

100% lawful to carry around & so easy to find and affordable.

Don't forget to keep it fully charged it all the time, for the critical moment.

Also, check the surroundings before you switch it on; No Flammable Gas around (as mentioned in its warning on its package)...

Good luck.

I have seen on a few occasasions the wild dogs in Thailand politely enter a premises full of people and smile and wag their tail wildly until someone throws them some food. Then they go back to their mischief.

When I was a teenager with a paper route (in the U.S), I was always chased by dogs in the street. I even got bit once. On the last day of my route, I brought a big wooden stick with me. When I saw them running towards me, I parked the bike and ran after them with the stick. What cowards they were. My eyes opened watching them screech their assault and run in fear.  Wish I knew before I got bit.
