last call for alcohol.

i'm in bed before 9 most nights to avoid alcohol-induced suppressed anger.

Sexually frustrated men (some are into Lima Bravos) fighting over a lack of supply.

Keep that behavior in Phuket.  Please do not come to Samui.

I'd say it is part of "tourism". On the one-hand the PM wants to slacken the "strict" liquor laws, on the other Netizens want to enforce stricter visa rules. L

Thailand is making money. Drunk people are a common sight everywhere in the world.

What "strict" liquor laws are you talking about?

Debate Topics

Is one on one fighting fighting considered fair according to Thai street customs?

Should the number of kicks to the head be limited?

Should ladyboys be considered as male or female fighters?

Should bouncers be considered professional fighters?

sad that LOS is so dependent on tourism. what's needed is a better education and 21st. century manufacturing base.

It's a typical drunken brawl. Most punches don't land and more injuries occur from falling over

A street brawl involving foreign tourists outside Cafe del Mar in Kamala, Phuket, has gone viral on social media, sparking discussions about the type of tourists visiting the island.

The 1-minute, 37-second video, shared by the "โหดจัง จังหวัดภูเก็ต" Facebook page on February 14, shows a chaotic scene with intoxicated tourists exchanging blows while shocked bystanders look on. The fight, which began outside the popular nightlife venue, quickly escalated into a violent street brawl.

In the video, one man attempts to break a bottle over another's head, and others are seen throwing punches and kicks. A particularly alarming moment captures a man repeatedly kicked while on the ground, despite attempts by bystanders, including two women, to intervene.

The video's caption, expressing frustration over the incident, states, “It’s famous again. Free visa, quality tourists – drunk and fighting in Kamala, Phuket, causing trouble and damaging the island’s image again.” This highlights growing concerns about Phuket's tourism environment.

Social media users voiced mixed reactions. Many blamed lenient visa policies for the influx of disruptive visitors. Comments included, “Phuket is a beautiful place, but incidents like this ruin its reputation,” and calls for immediate deportation with suggestions to report the culprits to their embassies.

Others argued that unruly tourist behavior isn't unique to Phuket and shouldn't solely be attributed to visa regulations.

Local police are currently examining the footage and have promised to take legal action against those involved. Further details have yet to be released by authorities, reported The Thaiger.

Was there in 2022.  Was much mor classy and no one had fights.

My root cause analysis to this problem is that there is a lack of women in Phuket now.  Back in the day, there were sooo many treats to go around, that men did not have time to fight.

Today, we have a lot of young, inexperience <deleted>, with Man Purses flaying at each other due to sexual frustration.

These boys have no clue on how to behave in Thailand.

Here is a hint, do not bring this behavior to Patts.  They do not eff around here.  You will be checked and reminded on how to behave.

Get a grip. They behave like this back in the 18 & 19ieme  arrondisements.  However, back home when they leave their self created ghettos, they are typically fighting with the  gendarmerie or harassing French jews.

I didn't want to say it one more time but here it's goes....when Thailand was looking to increase tourists numbers I said "be careful with what you wish for" and here there is not week week going by with this type of posts. They wanted them, they got them now deal with them and good luck with that

While TAT strive to keep the incoming numbers climbing, as if numbers are the answer to everything.

They could go the other way, have fine dining, street cafes, good entertainment and real celebrity shows..

Instead they opt for the endless girlie bars, and almost all night drinking...

Invite in the riff-raff expect trrouble.
