Our jails have become privatized, the courts send people to programs that benefit them directly, the cops all get their cut, think asset forfeiture. Same with DUI's and many other things

And because Biden-Yellen sold about $10T in short-term bonds that come due in the next 2-6 months, higher interest rates will increase the deficit further. 

 

Nothing Trump is doing will have any short-term effect and reducing the deficit.
